5.0 out of 5 stars So far so good, September 19, 2011
I bought them for a long hiking trip, so I will try to update my review afterward.

So far I really like them. They are a nice weight, somewhere around mid weight. They feel like a slightly lighter boot though, they aren't too stiff which some mid-weights can be, but it is just a bit heavier than something like the Merrell Moab.

They have the Vibram sole, which of course is nice.

I have somewhat wide feet, and they aren't too snug (but not wide enough that they would be a problem for people with narrow feet). Otherwise they seem to fit true to size.

The insole is a bit flimsy, but that is true of most hiking boots (even good ones). Typically you want to replace them anyway.

The shoe is easy to clean which is a HUGE plus in my opinion. Boots with lots of mesh (Vasque Breeze, Merrell Moab, etc) are pretty much impossible to clean which I hate.

I was looking at (and tried on) the Vasque Breeze, Merrell Moab, Keen Targhee II and others. I ended up with the La Sportiva Onix and I am happy with my decision.
