I thought this pedometer was going to be wonderful on keeping how many steps I take a day. Why I purchased this item was they said it was accurate but what I found is that you can hook the pedometer on your clothing and suddenly you have already walked 10 steps with out moving. I would not recommend to buy this pedometer.

I bought this a couple months ago so I could track my steps. It is very easy to set up and use. I thought i had lost it so I ordered another because I can not find another that is as nice as this one. found my first one and now have two. It is a good product for the price

I agree with other reviewers that this pedometer may be a little inaccurate (I have seen it log in steps for trying to hook it to your pants) but I was never concerned enough about a few steps here or there when you consider an overall goal of 10,000 steps a day. Plus I would also just reset it if this happened at the beginning of the day.

The biggest downfall was that this pedometer did not last very long. I had it for about 6 months when it went blank. It sat around on my desk for awhile as I was too lazy to buy a little screwdriver to figure out which battery I needed to buy when one day I picked it up and dropped it and it blinked back on! I used it for a few more weeks when one day it randomly reset itself (stride, date, time, etc) and has essentially locked me out and will not log steps and I cannot figure out how to get it set up again. The screen reads "off." It appears that everyday banging around will interfere with the electronics (i.e. tossing it onto the nightstand). Considering that this is a pedometer and not a delicate piece of equipment, I should expect it to withstand being jumbled around in my purse, being tossed onto my nightstand at the end of the day, and taking a few falls as it tumbles out of my hands. I didn't think I was particularly rough with it, but perhaps I was.

I was happy with this little pedometer (which was a gift) up until it started glitching up. It is smaller than others I have seen and I thought was pretty easy to hide clipped to your waistband under your shirt or in your pocket. This was my first pedometer, so I can not compare it to others, but it did essentially what I expected. I am sad to have to spend money to buy a new one, but I found using a pedometer useful enough that I will do it.

Extremely, extremely, extremely innacurate. I ran 2.5 miles (= 10 x 1/4 mile track laps) and it told me I had only run .98 miles.

Wanted to test the accuracy so I first drove the distance and than I ran the distance. By driving it was 3 miles and after running, the pedometer said 1.6. If you really want something that will be at least close to the distance you run/walk, I would not recommend this product.

Pretty disappointed in this pedometer. Frankly the build quality is kinda cheap and the buttons are hard to push. Worst of all, the step counts just don't seem accurate unless the angles are exactly right. Forget about setting and forgetting this thing. Definitely worth spending more money on a solid pedometer.

I bought this a couple weeks ago and used it for the first time today. I set it up per the instructions, wore it as recommended (clipped to my hip), and went for a walk. I counted my steps every now and again to double check the accuracy and it was spot on accurate in that regard, which is great. The frustration I have with this pedometer, like another reviewer mentioned, is that it'll give me about 10 more "steps" while unclipping it and putting it into my purse, another 5 steps moving it from my hip to reset it, or another 4 for bending over to tie my shoe. Other than that - it's easy to use - just follow the directions, and it comes with a small, yet handy, fitness guide. I gave it two stars overall because it claims such great accuracy, and picking up insignificant, non-walking/running movements, is not the "accuracy" I'm looking for.

This is a very accurate pedometer. I've counted up to 500 steps and it comes out correct every time I count. It is sensitive and adds 3-5 steps getting it in and out of a tight/deep pocket but what's that if one is taking 10,000 to 20,000 steps?
