This stopwatch exceeded my expectations. There are modes that I don't understand that may come in handy later. The stopwatch and countown timer can be active at the same time, unlike the 461 that was sent to me (which received a poor review).

The look and feel of this stopwatch is top notch. The screen that displays the date, day, and time make this a watch replacement if someone wants to use it that way.

I am giving it 4 instead of 5 stars because to change the battery 7 small screws will need to be removed. I would rather be able to replace the battery easily by myself. Now I will have to take it to a watch shop. However, it may be designed this way for water resistance and "ruggedness".

Also, instead of having to change the minutes in the countdown timer for example to 30 by pressing or holding the minutes down 30 times, I would rather be able to change the "3" digit and the "0" digit separately. That would require only 3 presses (or holding it down a lot less). This way of setting minutes is used on the 461 model and I found it to be very satisfying to set minutes so quickly.

All in all this is a great stopwatch. I wouldn't hesitate to buy it again. 4 stars from me is really good, because I tend to be very critical in my reviews.

I am a USDA Food Safety Inspector and work in a wet enviroment. We can't wear a wrist watch so I need one around my neck. I use the chronograph and I love that the time, day, date are all on one large display. The only thing I don't like so far is that I have to push the button twice to get to the chrono and four times to get back to the time.

The watch is excellent but the battery went dead in less than a month. Normally a battery will last well over a year. I can only assume the watch has been sitting in storage for a long time. It would have been nice to get a fresh watch.
