I got these at Any Mountain on Clearance ($50). I find the amazon.com photo a bit misleading. The photo makes the boots look brownish, with red-tinted pompoms. In reality, the boots are completely black, with black pompoms (streaked with white). There is no brownish or reddish hue at all!

The size runs large. I bought a size 8, and typically wear 7.5-8, but there was a LOT of room for my feet. (7 would probably be perfect). However, this may be good if you like wearing thick socks with your winter boots. At first I was worried about the larger size, but I realized that it doesn't matter much--they feel great when I walk around.

I've gotten several compliments on these already, and the pompoms are absolutely adorable. The sole allows you to hike about without worrying about slipping. This was a great investment for me because I can wear them casually and also during ski trips (they are snow boots) and during rainy days(they are waterproof)! I am able to tuck my jeans inside, thanks to the laced design that allows you to adjust for the tightness around your shins...yet at the same time I can simply slip my feet in the boots and pull them out, rather than lacing and unlacing them.

The boots are maybe a tad less cute than the picture, but still the cutest on the market. Size runs slightly small. They are really comfortable and soft and easy to put on and take off. My only complaints are that the furry stuff looks pretty cheap, and the way they lace up doesn't really show off the ankle, I wish they looked a little slimmer. Overall very happy with them.

I thought this shoe was cute cute cute! They did run a teenie bit small for me. I wear size 11 and they seemed a tad tight. Hopefully they will stretch a bit.

Nicely made product. They close in front over a tongue with laces tipped with adorable fur pom poms. The matching fur on the top edge is very classy. I bought them because I already have boots with high heels for stylin', and all-plastic boots for shoveling snow, so I needed an in-between pair, warm, waterproof, and with good traction, for walking around in town in this very snowy, snowy Chicago winter. I bought them in black to go with my winter jacket, and a half size larger than my usual size, as per current wisdom for buying boots -- but they are too big and I'd have been better off with my regular size. OK because I use Dr. Scholl inserts and heavy socks. They go best with skinny leg jeans or leggings because boot cuts don't go over them so you have to stuff them in. They're kind of high on the calf so if you're petite, maybe not a good look for you.

Sturdy, waterproof and yet totally cute. I have small legs but fit perfectly!
Also, bought these at DSW on CLEARANCE! for $55 in the brown! They have the black for only $79!
