I bought the SI Basketball book because I had already bought the baseball and football books, and was very pleased with them.. I expected the basketball book to be of the same quality of writing and photos of the other two. I was not diapointed. The book is full of great articles by quality writers, and with many photos by the famed photo staff at SI. If you want a good quaility book, and are a basketball fan, this book is worth the more then fair asking price. The origins of the game to the present day game is covered as well as profiles on the superstars of each decade, is excellent. This is an exceptional book, buy it, it is worth it.

Great basketball book. Excellent if you'd like to get an appreciation of the 60's and 70's of NBA basketball (as well as current information).

I bought this for my 9 year old grandson who is a HUGE basketball fan. It may be too in depth for most kids, but if they're a good reader and have that passionate interest they'll love it.

Ultimate Basketball book,whether novice,or lifelong fan (Rick Barry and the Warriors won the title in the mid-70's,I was 10...fan forever!),this book will satisfy all sport fans.

My son is basketball crazy and when he saw the ad for this book, he had to order it. He loves it! Has been reading it ALL summer and telling our family about the history and cool facts he has learned going through the book. BEAUTIFUL photographs make it well worth the money. I was surprised at the quality for the price!
We both highly recommend this book for basketball lovers!

I first order this book for my husband and then ordered two more for my friends. The pictures are amazing and a great gift for anyone who enjoys the game of basketball.

The history is this book is amazing full of colour VERY HAPPY

A hoops fan must! There is so much nostalgia in this nba pic book. It covers the entire history of great basketball players from the begining to it present. I also love how they put sheryl miller on the front cover to represent the ladies too. It has pic of one of my fav bullets PG Earl the Pearl Monroe to young MJ and Ewing.. and Lakers showtime to lakers with Shaq & Kobe.. I can go on and on, this is a hoops fan must

i got this as a gift for my boyfriend, an avid bball fan, he loved all the articles and pictures. its a pretty big coffee table book, and arrived quickly in good condition.

SI has a great reputation and they've created a great thing here. Like the football book, this is oversized and perfect for the coffee table. In our house, it has helped kick start lot of discussions.
