This book is a perfect gift for anyone at any age. Beautiful pictures highlight this book at insane angles you wouldn't believe. Pictures such as "The Catch", Marcus Allen's dive, and Dempsy's hooved foot. It also includes stats, explanations, and records throughout the history of the NFL, since the year of 1920. This is one of the coolest books I've ever gotten!

The only thing I asked for Christmas. It is well worth it to add to your collection. Just reading Dr. Z's all-time decade teams is enough to make you salivate. This book is loaded with awesome pictures, great facts from NFL history and the articles are simply priceless -- reruns of a lot of SI's best stories on the NFL's greatest players. You've just got to grab this awesome book. I'm only a third of the way through it and can't put it down!!!! Great job Sports Illustrated. You nailed it with this one!!!

We purchased this book as a gift for a friend who coached high school football for over 30 years. He is also a major NFL fan. He was so touched by the gift and content that he had the paper cover laminated to preserve it. He poured through the book and still goes through it. He is quite proud of it, and we are so elated to have given a gift that the recipient truly loves. Not only is the content awesome with the pictures and information, it is a great coffee table decor for football lovers.

Wonderful collection of photographs chronicling football from early thirties to present. This book is worth full retail. If you buy one as a gift make sure you buy one for yourself . You are going to keep one

I felt that this is one of the best Football books. The pictures are excellent and it truly a good value for the price I paid. I would highly recommend it to any Football fan.

I gave this book to my son for Christmas. It was a hit. The celebration was forgoten and all we did from then on was look and wow at this book. If you want a book that will really blow a football fan away, this is it.

This is a unique, beautifully photographed book! It includes the history of football and large, clear photos of some of the best games! My husband loves it! If you're a football fan, you will treasure this book!

This was the comment of my 7 year old nephew (a Jets fan) when I gave him this book. It has the trademark Sports Illustrated photography, plus lots of old photos showing the infancy of the sport, which are interesting to adults and kids alike. He's a beginning reader, but we enjoyed looking at the pictures, with his guessing which teams were shown based on the uniforms. The Amazon price is a bargain. Highly recommended for boys and fans of all ages!
