There is nothing restricted "for kids" about this book. It contains the complete statistics for all the major (and many considered minor) sports for the year 2006. The chapters are:

*) Baseball - major leagues only
*) Basketball - men's and women's college and pro
*) Hockey - world cup and NHL
*) Soccer - men's and women's
*) Action sports such as the winter and summer X games, gravity games, and surfing
*) Golf - men's and women's
*) Motor sports - Indy and Nascar
*) Tennis
*) Swimming
*) Track and field
*) 2004 Summer Olympics
*) 2006 Winter Olympics

The holders of all-time records are included in the year 2006 records for the major sports. If you are interested in what happened in any of the above areas in the year 2006, this is the place to look, independent of your age.

This book was great! I could not put it down, so go to the store and get it as soon as possible. Just as my title for my review says it's "Flippen Sweet"!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We use these book as a part of our NFL Impact program run at USC's Joint Educational Project as part of our math component. It's a lot of stats and numbers and calculations that are relevant to the kids, so it's easier for them to stomach.
