insipid and pointless
There is no reason for this book. There are lots of facilities profiled, sure, but you can't even get anything out of the aggregate. There is no insight at all into the functioning of various types of sports and recreation centers. Each project gets a few paragraphs of fluff. No plans nor statistics. Page after page after page of bland and boring facilities. So no...

There is no reason for this book. There are lots of facilities profiled, sure, but you can't even get anything out of the aggregate. There is no insight at all into the functioning of various types of sports and recreation centers. Each project gets a few paragraphs of fluff. No plans nor statistics. Page after page after page of bland and boring facilities. So no inspiration to be had. And, if you're looking for technical help, look elsewhere.
