I'm surprised by all of the great reviews of this wrench. Mine arrived quickly, however:

A. Neither of the barrel wrenches fit, I had to spend 10 minutes filing the middle pin to get the wrench to fit a free-float nut. I was able to remove a delta ring nut, but that side of the wrench is way oversized and it bent some of the teeth.

B. I don't know which ~3/4" square cutout is for a muzzle device because neither fit my A2 flash hider.

C. If the " 1/2" " square cutout was any larger my 1/2" torque wrench would spin freely in the hole!!!

I'm an engineer and this tool looks like either a sand casting that used a pattern that's past its useful life so the dimensions are all out of tolerance, or a noob designed it and forgot to offset everything to account for the rubberized coating.

Save your money and buy another tool if you want to use this for anything more than removing a buffer tube - I have one of those wrenches already which I will be using (instead of this tool) the next time I need to remove a buffer tube.

I was able to open a bottle of beer with the buffer tube hook, so I guess this thing's not totally useless...

The wrench was very solid/sturdy,but it would not fit the mil-spec castle nut on my AR-15. Wish they would have stated that in the description. Needless to say I sent it back for a refund. Hopes this saves someone else the hassle.

Just like I said with the Vise Block, "if you own an AR15, you will at some point in time, need to either tighten or loosen the barrel nut and/or hand rail". To apply the sufficient amount of torque to the barrel nut, you will need this tool. To use any other tool will only damage your barrel nut; not to mention, scratch the hell out of it. Believe me, there is no way to get around needing this tool if you own an AR15 and Amazaon is the cheapest place you get it.

I wouldn't call this wrench a complete piece of crap, but it definitely is not in spec. The barrel nut pins don't line up well, the flash hider slot is way to big, as is the torque wrench hole. It took quite a bit of work to make this tool functional for my uses, but it was needed to get my new AR completed, and didn't want to wait on a return/exchange. Just consider yourself warned, nothing on this wrench functioned the way it was intended without modification, and some were just plain useless.

if you need a ar-15 stock wrench just buy it.This is very heavy duty should last a long time and you can't beat the price. You could buy a much more expensive one but why would you want to.This product deserves the 5 stars I gave it.

If you are looking for a multitool for your AR build look elsewhere.

The good:
The castle nut wrench fit ok.

The bad: Everything else.

The 1/2" cutout for my torque wrench was so big my wrench almost spun freely in it. It was able to barely grab with the corners of the wrench but I did not feel safe using it

The 3/4" cut out for a muzzle device was too small by about 1/8". I used a 3/4 open ended wrench and it worked fine so it was not the flash hider.

The free float barrel nut (the side with the 3 pins) was so out of spec it did not fit my barrel nut at all. I ground down 1 of the pins on my bench grinder to make it a 2 pin tool and it mostly worked but not as stable as a true 3 pin would be.

This tool will definitely not be reused and is going to the scrap bin.

BUYER BEWARE!!!

I am such an idiot. After receiving a replacement my wrench still didn't work. I refused to believe this and after another look I was using it wrong. This tool is great so forget what I said. Thanks amazon for the great service as always. Make sure you look at the diagram and understand it before using it hahaha. If you get it and it won't work make sure its not user error before you return the product. If your torque wrench doesn't fit then ask for a replacement cause I have gotten two and both work flawlessly. I am glad I asked for a replacement because the price is great for everything this tool does. If anyone complains about it not fitting I would say there is a 50/50 chance its user error.

I completely broke down and dissasembled a DPMS oracle with this tool, I used every single function on the wrench, they all worked flawlessly. I was hesitant to trust the D-ring nubs, I was prepared to grind one off if they didn't fit right. I had to wiggle to get it in, but it fit just perfectly and worked great. Same for the stock and muzzle wrenches, and the torque wrench hole.

No regrets at all.
