I got mine and was glad to see that it is an all metal construction, fit snugly to my full size Walther P99, and had a fairly bright red laser. It was easily adjustable and looked like a good alternative to those very expensive lasers out there.
I fired about 15 rounds with the laser attached, went to change my clip and noticed something odd about the front of my gun. There was a metal plate sticking out of the front that I had never seen before.
It was the upper cover beneath the screw that is used to secure it to the gun. The recoil of the lightest grain ammo I could get was too much for the glue holding it to the body of the laser and it came loose.
Once that plate is off, all adjustment screws fail to work and you loose any sighting that you have done by this point.
I'm hoping that with some luck, some careful reconstruction and a tube of super glue I can put it back together and get it into working order.

As a side note... the battery that was inside died within a couple minutes but I was glad to see they provided spares... for all the good it is doing me.

So, maybe you will have better luck than me. But...

Works great on my 9mm Sigma, don't confuse this one with the piece of junk knockoff that some company called MAX is selling on Amazon for 12 bucks, they try to hide the fact it isn't made by Aim Sports but it isn't.This one is worth every penny I paid for it and then some, comes with batteries too.

It works better than a nebo laser. With that said if your not in the financial position to buy crimson trace. This will work.

I mounted this on the front of the rail on the handle of an AR-15 style rifle. Its flat contour fits perfectly under the nose of my UTG red/green dot sight which is mounted toward the back of the rail. Picture this: Three sighting options on this handle: The rear iron sight + the laser + the red/green dot. It doesn't get any better! However, we just got another 6" of snow ... so, I have yet to fieldtest this baby, i.e., sight it in + test its sturdiness to repeated .223/5.56 recoil. If I experience any problems when I get to that point, I'll update this review. I will tell you that I did "sight it in" in terms of adjusting the laser to match my iron sight aiming point ... and that went very smoothly. I like this product so much (regardless of not having sighted it in yet), that I'm ordering one, maybe two, more to put on other guns.

I'm very impressed with this inexpensive little laser. There was a delay in writing this review because I wanted to see how well it held up. I bought it figuring it would be a cheap way to find out if using a laser was for me. I also figured it would break down pretty quickly under "real" recoil so if I liked the laser idea I'd be getting a bigger name brand eventually. So far it has held up very well. I like the on/off switch, too. It seems like it might hold up better than a push button style and turning it on is very simple and positive. This device may still be best suited for Airsoft or small caliber guns but it's a good way to learn about laser use at a low cost.

Hint: Lasers are the best. Nice as this has been, jump straight to the high dollar model if you can afford it.

I bought this item for my Ruger sr9c. It doesn't fit but I test it on my friends guns and worked perfectly.

I have to say that the 0n/off swith is a bit loose, so if you carry your gun with this laser it is probably that it will turn on without your knowlege.
