My Sports Wireless Video Game System

I bought this product because I wanted the Wii but did not want to spend the money at the time. So I thought I would give it a try and it works great! The graphics are not quite as good as the Wii but for the price you can't beat it!

CAUTION! The golf club heads do not always lock in place! My 13 year old daughter used this game for the first time last night and destroyed my sister's brand new 42" LG LCD television. The club flew off and smacked the screen creating a bullet hole appearance and a colorful starburst effect on the screen. After testing the various pieces with the two remotes, we found that the golf clubs did not consistently snap in place. Please use extreme caution when using this game otherwise it can be a very expensive experience.

this is a joke even the instuctions are not complete on how to start the game. New batteries cost a ton and the screen is frozen no help from the manufacture in fact it is no longer even listed as an item they sell! WOW now what do I do? disappointed kids and a real angry mom!

The GRAPHICS on this product is not very clear. We even used this on a new HDTV 40" screen. They really could improve the Graphics for clearer pictures.

My kids received the Senario "My Sports Challenge" gaming system for Christmas. It is, or was, for the most part as cheezy as I expected. I say "or was" because we used the game for about an hour and the next day it didn't work at all - the console won't turn on even with new batteries. I say "cheezy" because the graphics and overall game design are a far cry from today's high-tech systems like the Play Station, Nintendo DS, Wii, etc. It's sort of a throw-back though to the days of Intellivision (ok, maybe a couple of years later), but that's one of the things I liked about it because I could actually enjoy the darn thing without having to study 2.5 million controller functions in order to play.

But what I am most disappointed by is the $149 price tag I see on this thing at amazon.com - I mean a PS2 console could be had for less than this. I would not have paid this much and I'm sad that my kids grandparents did.

I've submitted an online inquiry to the manufacturer about the game console not working so it will be interesting to see what their response is, if I get one.

I don't have the money for the wii, and wouldn't really play it a lot if I did have it. So I found this on clearance for around 29.00 and bought it. I didn't expect it to be the same quality as the wii, at a tenth of the price. So when I got it and started playing it, I was suprised at the graphics. They were much getter than I expected. The people looked more like people, instead of those weeble looking things on wii sports. But the controls and game play are just not as good. Still I thought for the money, it was OK. But just the second time that I was going to use it, it wouldn't turn on, so I returned it for a refund.

My kids received this for Easter. We played on Easter Sunday and had a blast! Then, I pulled it out of the box again to play on Monday. Nothing. I replaced the batteries. Nothing. The game console just would not turn on. The boys had a great time playing, but it just is NOT durable - not at all. The game was not dropped, hit, kicked, or had any other trauma. It just quit after one use. Too bad.

We didn't quite have the money to get a Wii for our daughter for Christmas, so we got this instead. Have to say that we are not very pleased with the quality. Our daughter is quite familiar with playing a Wii, and this item is unfortunately quite frustrating and not very fun at all. I would suggest saving your money and getting a Wii instead. It would be definately worth it......

[...]. The graphics are very NES circa 1990. The responsiveness of the remotes is not very good to ok depending on where the user is and the receiver is. It isn't RF, it's infrared so it's eye must be able to see your actions.

The controls are very inprecise and sometimes horrible.

All that said, my 5yo loves it and the poor graphics haven't phased him at all (my boys are used to Gamecube graphics). I actually even enjoyed the bowling game though I think after 3 or 4 more games I might have mastered it. The fun part of the bowling was that my 4yo legitimately beat me at it the first time either of us played (and I'm a pretty seasoned video game player). The baseball game is ok and fun (in an old fashioned way) when playing against a real person. The tennis game is almost unplayable while golf and boxing are just barely playable with very little replay value.

Overall, next time I would probably invest my $[...] in a good used Gamecube game instead of this system. I'd recommend finding a used console before buying this.

This game system is poor at best. The graphics are horrible. It is nothing like the Wii as others are advertising. We tried this as we got is as a gift and are now stuck with it. Can't even give it away. Looking to donate it to a charitable orgainzation or it will sit in my attic and collect dust. Don't waste your money!!!
