The SportsStuff 4K Booster Ball System replaces traditional towlines with an inflatable "Booster Ball" buoy with sturdy towline rope at both ends. Suitable for use on any boat, but especially good for boats with low transom tow points, the Booster Ball system provides a way to keep the tow rope elevated out of the water during the ride and increases the visibility of the tow line at all times. The increased height of the towline reduces line drag, absorbs shock, and even enhances the boat's fuel economy. The Booster Ball system is designed to improve your towable's performance with quicker starts, reduced rope spray, decreased chance that the towable will dive during the ride, and less wear and tear on your actual towable.

Built for long term durability, the Booster Ball inflatable buoy features bright water-sports graphics with a heavy-gauge PVC bladder and a tough nylon cover with double stitching and reinforced stress points. The system is equipped with a patented speed safety valve for quick inflation and deflation and has a self bailing drain vent to prevent the uptake of water. I bought this to keep the tube from submarining and to keep the tow ropes from going slack in the wake while turning. It does both extremely well. This makes for a much more enjoyable experience for both the riders and the boat driver.

I recently pulled a tube behind my jetski without it and regretted it immediately.

We have a SeaDoo Jetski and the Booster Ball makes towing inflatables much more enjoyable for both the driver and the riders. This ball keeps the tow rope out of the water so that there is much less splash into the face of the riders. The ride is not as jerky because the ball rolls across the water allowing the towable to be slung in both directions with little effort. The driver can much more easily get the towable moving from side to side with little effort. This ball is strong and durable also. I would reccomend this to all. The one thing that I noticed that could be consider a down side would be that it limits the drivers view of the riders when they are directly behind the boat/jetski. I am not sure if you are pulling small children and do not want to start fast if you might have a problem as when we attempted to start slow the ball dove. But if you start faster this is not a problem.

Our new jet boat is great, but the tow hook is so close to the water that the rope inevitably slaps against the surface splashing water in the eyes of whoever is tubing. So we bought the booster ball to see if it could solve the problem. The ball is bigger and better made than it appears in the photo. The price seems high for a tow rope and a ball, but the thing is built like a high quality tube (fabric outside with a tough rubber inside) and is huge. The rope is very high quality as well. The size is the key - it holds the rope up out of the water, completely eliminating splash. It also doesn't prevent you from sliding over wake or having as much fun as you would without the ball. I'm very happy I bought it.
