I bought this to keep the tube from submarining and to keep the tow ropes from going slack in the wake while turning. It does both extremely well. This makes for a much more enjoyable experience for both the riders and the boat driver.

I recently pulled a tube behind my jetski without it and regretted it immediately.

We have a SeaDoo Jetski and the Booster Ball makes towing inflatables much more enjoyable for both the driver and the riders. This ball keeps the tow rope out of the water so that there is much less splash into the face of the riders. The ride is not as jerky because the ball rolls across the water allowing the towable to be slung in both directions with little effort. The driver can much more easily get the towable moving from side to side with little effort. This ball is strong and durable also. I would reccomend this to all. The one thing that I noticed that could be consider a down side would be that it limits the drivers view of the riders when they are directly behind the boat/jetski. I am not sure if you are pulling small children and do not want to start fast if you might have a problem as when we attempted to start slow the ball dove. But if you start faster this is not a problem.

Our new jet boat is great, but the tow hook is so close to the water that the rope inevitably slaps against the surface splashing water in the eyes of whoever is tubing. So we bought the booster ball to see if it could solve the problem. The ball is bigger and better made than it appears in the photo. The price seems high for a tow rope and a ball, but the thing is built like a high quality tube (fabric outside with a tough rubber inside) and is huge. The rope is very high quality as well. The size is the key - it holds the rope up out of the water, completely eliminating splash. It also doesn't prevent you from sliding over wake or having as much fun as you would without the ball. I'm very happy I bought it.

I bought te booster ball last year hoping it would keep the rope out of the wake, but it rarely did better than a rope alone. It also has to face the right diredtion, or it won't work. And, frequently it gets turned around with the rope wrapped around it making us pull it in and fix it. We don't use it anymore.

This ball keeps the rope out of the water. It also makes it easier and faster to get on plain. best of all you do not get that jerk on the tube on turns.

I've used this over one weekend with a 3 person, lay on towable (Airhead Matrix V3), and I like it. It keeps the rope out of the water and most spray is reduced. There is still some spray but it's not bad. I don't know if it actually improves fuel economy though.

We pull a two person towable with a jet ski and this booster ball makes riding a lot more fun and also safer. The tow hook on a jet ski is only a very short distance from the top of the water. This booster ball helps make up for that disadvantage. It does have all of the tow rope you need to connect your pulling watercraft to your towable with the booster ball in the middle. Make sure you get enough air into it. You can separate the covering from the bladder to aid in drying it out after use. So be on the "cutting edge" of fun with this booster ball. Someday in the future all towable with be pulled using a booster ball between it and the watercraft. But for right now you might be the only one on your lake having the maximun fun level riding a towable. Culture eventually catches up with innovation!

This product does all that it says will do. The kids enjoyed not having water slammed into thier faces. Helps keep the rope out of the water and wake. NOT recommended for tubes that spin (Orbit).

Will and have recommend to fellow boater.

I was hoping it'd reduce the spray my kids get in the face when on the tubes- can't say it eliminated it, but I think it did reduce it somewhat, but not as much as I'd hoped. Doesn't seem to make it any faster... I still gave it 4 stars because it got rid of some of the water in the face.

This helps lift the rope out of the water so kids don't get sprayed in the face! Especially nice for those little guys that are on their first rides. It does make it easier to get the tube out of the wake behind our 21' pontoon with a 90 horse four stroke. Comes as pictured, with full rope and you just need the harness for your boat to attach it to e.g. red float behind motor that is Y shaped to c hooks on boat. Would I buy again? No. Now we want a tow bar so we can pull knee boarder.
