I got this for my boyfriend for Christmas. I was a little leery about the Velcro, as it seemed overly tame, but I am super glad I didn't go for metal cuffs. These are extremely comfortable, plus they're fun and easy to use.

Effective but not too threatening,

Great product, best coupled with Sportsheet's tethers. Hooked seperately to spaced tethers - or something else directly - they work fine. If hooked to each other your subject can use one hand to unhook the other hand's velcro.

They are nice and comfortable, I have tendonitis in my wrists so I need something soft and flexible, and I had absolutely no problems using these. That is until the third time I used them, and the velcro snapped. As I mentioned, I have wrist problems and I can't struggle very much, I wasn't really pulling on them, I have no idea what caused them to come undone, probably just bad stitching. On the other hand my significant other has a pair at his house and I've never had a problem with them.If you;re just looking to have the cuffs for the look or effect of being tied down then these are great, they're not very pretty but they're very comfortable. On the other hand, if you tend to move around or struggle, you might look for something sturdier, possibly made out of leather.

These will break. They are constructed poorly and if there is even a little bit of struggling or resistance, the velco strap will tear off and separate from the wrist strap, and it is not fixable...very disappointing.
