Educational Fishing Book
Answers a lot of 'simple' questions about tactics and techniques- it was really helpful to me, I just bought a boat a few months ago and inshore fish. It's very well illustrated and simple to understand, written assuming you know 'nothing' about fishing, sometimes is the best approach.

Inshore Fishing-For the Beginner
This book is pretty general. If you're new to skinny water and inlet fishing it might be a worthwhile buy, but otherwise go on to the books published by these same guys that are specific to particular species.
