This is the second leash like this that we've owned, and both have been great. We have a 90 lb Golden Retriever, and its more than sturdy enough to hold him.We only had to replace the first one because during his teething phase he chewed through it while home alone one day. We tied it in a knot, and continued to use it but eventually he got too large for how short the leash had become. I doubt that now that hes lost his puppy teeth that he would be able to chew through it again (teeth not as sharp) Go Sox!
