Good Rock and Roll, May 31, 2005

The self-titled album from Bay Area fun rockers, Spot 1019 is a gem indeed. Every track is good. I promise! Each has its own feeling, different from the last track, but it all comes together in some weird organic fashion to leave you with a fine album altogether.
The stars of this album include Elvis, Jesus, Dinky Dog the Demon Master. I personally like when they get a little countrified with "Chocobox."
This album is now almost 15 years old, but it sounds like it could've been recorded yesterday. With a unique sound that has withstood the test of time, Spot 1019 should be in everyone's collection.
