We are big Spot fans, and I was excited when I was notified that this book was coming out. We received it as a gift. My kids weren't interested since it didn't have flaps and nothing happens in the story. Just a nice little tribute to Spot's mom... nothing special. I probably wouldn't have bought this one.

I'm a little annoyed, because unless I'm blind, the description of the book does not mention that there are no flaps, as in the other Spot books. I ordered this one as well as the similar "daddy" book and neither of them have the flaps, which is why I ordered them in the first place.

My daughter loves Spot. God knows why, as the drawing and the storylines tend to be pretty mediocre. But she does really really love all of Eric Hill's books, including this one. She is 3 y.o. and has had it for over a year, and still requests it during reading time. The simple wording and pictures allow her to "read" it to herself when I'm not available to do so. It's like those Maisey books. We adults just don't get it, but will your kid love it? Almost certainly.

Spot Love his Mommy brings tears to my eyes because I'm a mommy too. It's very sweet and melts your heart! Thank you!

My five-year-old son purchased Spot Loves His Grandma and Spot Loves His Daddy. I was so jealous and so he finally bought Spot Loves His Mommy. I'm so happy!
The book series is great for beginning readers. It is predictable and the pictures tell a lot. It helps develop confidence in young readers.

My daughter loves all her Spot books. She especially loves the Spot Loves His Mommy books. Generally, she'll make me read the Daddy book and my wife the Mommy book. The book is well constructed. I consider it "Toddler Resistant" (mostly because nothing is Toddler Proof). Overall, this was a great purchase that has and will continue to provide entertainment for my youngest for the next few years.

We love Spot. This is another charming book in the board book collection. (no flaps). Not quite as good as "Spot Loves his Daddy," but the kids still love it.

I bought this book for my son who is 17 mos. old because he had the Spot Halloween book already and just loves it. He loves for us to read it over and over and over again and just loves to flip the pages....The colors are cheery and bright and the story is quick and easy

We love all of the Spot books and would buy them all. We read them over & over.
