I have been really pleased with the results from this new machine. I have one good dog who wouldn't dream of having an accident and another dog who is bad to the bone. Good thing for her she is cute and affectionate. This SpotBot has certainly taken some of the stress out of life with our white carpeting.

By the way, when I bought this, it was model 12006 and it is the model that is blue. I see that those pictures are gone and replaced with another now, so I'm reviewing the blue one.

I find that it cleans as well as any other, large or portable. I use the manual option more because I find that the automatic part uses a LOT of detergent. My other complaint, along that vein, is that the automatic cleaning leaves the floor too wet. The good news is that I can just take the hose and suck out most of the excess moisture so, once I figured that out, I was happy with it.

I do like the portability as, having recently acquired a puppy, I was getting tired of pulling out my full-size carpet cleaner for spot cleaning.

This spot bot has a piece of defective crap for a pump that Bissell refused to cover under warranty after only 3 months of use. My son received this as a gift in march and after only about 8 uses the pump died. They claim that because of it's manufacture date it is past the warranty period!! Not the date it was purchased!!! BTW...do you have any idea how to read the date codes on anything you buy??? Bissell no longer stands behind it's products and I will never buy another Bissell product.
