This CD is a gem. It contains a collection of works whilst modern in character, easy on the ear, and in fact, inspiring and beautiful. I heard about it on the Naxos podcast and having heard samples of the tracks just had to have it. I was not disappointed with my purchase. I have listened to it over and over, and it just doesn't get tired. The three tracks by Cecilia McDowall are nothing short of divine, and have climbed to the highest ranks among my favourite classical pieces.
