5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent first interactive book for infants, December 2, 1998
By A Customer
This review is from: Spot's Touch and Feel Day (Hardcover)
Spot's Touch and Feel Day is the perfect introductory book for an infant just beginning to master the use of his/her hands. The large cardboard pages feature bold type, bright colors, and fun textures and flaps that encourage touch. The simple story shares Spot's play and bedtime routine. The durable pages withstand typical infant punishments (chewing and pulling). It was the first book that my infant son really responded to and wanted to read over and over. Starting at six months he loved touching the different textures and lifting the cloth and paper flaps. Within a few weeks he would touch different parts of Spot on command, and gestured excitedly to the book whenever he saw it. We really enjoyed reading this book together (and still do a year later), and it started a wonderful routine of reading before bedtime.

5.0 out of 5 stars 1st Graders LOVE the Spot books!, November 22, 1999
By A Customer
This review is from: Spot's Touch and Feel Day (Hardcover)
I am a first grader at Anna Merritt Elementary School in Lockport, NY. I have read all of the Spot lift-the-flap books. My favorite Spot book is Spot's Touch and Feel Day. I like feeling all the pictures. I liked feeling the grass and the steps the best. I hope Eric Hill writes 500 more lift-the-flap books!

5.0 out of 5 stars An eternal favorite..., September 21, 2002
By A Customer
This review is from: Spot's Touch and Feel Day (Hardcover)
After over two years, this is still one of my daughters favorite all time books. Our first copy was read to pieces (literally) She was a little over a year old when we first got it, and didn't understand the concept of interacting with the story...she just loved the pictures. However, then she got the hang of it...and was hooked. The muddy paw prints don't stay sticky very long, but otherwise this is a very durable book. The story is simple, with bold letters for introduction to reading and simple drawings which enhance interest and understanding. A great buy!

4.0 out of 5 stars Spot's Touch and Feel Day, July 22, 2002
A Kid's Review
This review is from: Spot's Touch and Feel Day (Hardcover)
The reason I choose SPOT'S Touch and Feel Day is because it seems to be a very good baby book. My son is nine months and he would love this book. It has lots of textures in it so that little kids can touch it and feel what it is saying. The colors are nice and bright so that the children can see the pictures. The words in this book are short so that the kids can under stand what we are saying.
