5.0 out of 5 stars Enjoyable vocals-timely lyrics November 8, 2011

I loved the melody of this song as well as the way the female vocalist handled it. In this song, Arcade Fire decries the way people try to squelch the creative impulses of artists and attempt to get them to conform to the day-to-day grind of a modern life--complete with shopping malls, sprawling suburbs and harsh city lights. It's excellent, and if you haven't heard in yet, you should give it a listen.
