The detailed steps and accompanying formulas contained in this Guide prepared by Equipment Testing Procedure Committee of the AIChE are valuable reference documents for both researchers and commercial producers of spray-dried products.
The second edition of the Guide has delved deeper into the topics, technical and descriptive in nature, pertaining to spray dryers performance. We do hope for an expanded Guide in the future to include the performance evaluation criteria for "direct horizontal spray dryers" or gate dryers.
