At least where I live, no store has these batteries for $3 or $4. This price is for two batteries, and I just paid $10 for only one battery at Wal-mart. Even with shipping, these are cheaper.

We have a beagle that is a howler. This product should get an award. Thank God that it exists.... ahhh silence....

You don't need to spend $10 (plus shipping!) for a replacement battery. The battery needed is a standard size and can be obtained from Target, Walgreens, etc for around $3 or $4. The citronella bark collars are great,I heartily recommend them over the "humane"??? shock collars. (Ever try one of those on your neck?)Citronella is the best system.

Make sure you read the print. I have two dogs that I use the collar on and the batteries didn't last long. I had a hard time finding the battery so I ordered them here. I received them in only 3 days which was awesome but I thought there were four batteries in the pack as shown and there are only two. I would have ordered more if I had taken the time to read the print instead of just looking at the picture.

Worked wonders instantly with my cavalier. Immediate results. I only have to put it on him now and then for a "refresher". I am still on the first can of spray and the first set of batteries. We have had it for about 3 weeks or so. The only down side is that he got a couple of inadvertant "corrections" for shaking his coat or for someone speaking too close to the microphone. Once you know that though, you can guard against it. He was a little scared at first and hid after he got sprayed but now I guess he gets what causes it. This collar cost about $60.00 less than one I saw at Petsmart that appeared to be the same.

As far as the service from this seller, it is always great. However, I find these batteries really don't hold their charge very well.

With shipping, these ended up costing as much as I would have paid at the store.

yes, these are overpriced. i just go to target or walmart camera section and get one for $2.99. it's ridiculous what they are trying to charge and these are the cheap one's that don't last long.

I love it, it really works! My neighboors were complaining and I had police officers, animal control personal every day at my house. They would tell me that I had to get ride of my dog. I would said: Everybody has dogs, how come I can't get to have one too? Finally this amazing guy from my local city animal control department gave me a copy of this collar from Amazon. That made a difference. My Symba(Golden retriever)stop barking without having damage to his brain. I just take it off at night. Everyone is happy now.

This product works as it is intended. Dogs really seem to dislike the Citronella. We had a dog that was a constant barker at everything (outside doggie). We tried this collar and it worked great. The only negative I thought was the battery life and if you have a constant barker like we did you go thru the citronella pretty fast! Which can become expensive.
