5.0 out of 5 stars He's a superstar alright :), September 24, 2010
This review is from: Spread Your Evil Wings & Fly (Audio CD)
Hahaha the other reviewer pointed out that "Britney's Silver Box" was a standout track; and although that sounds like it makes for a much dirtier song than even James could muster (no on second thought I guess he can get pretty dirty), its "Britney's Silver Can" :)

But yeah, anyone I've ever played James Kochalka Superstar for loves it. Whether its "Monkey verses Robot" or "Pizza Rocket". They either get down with the "rock and vulgarities, and drug references" or like the "fun and whimsy, and cartoon characters". I like both. I like the energy when he plays live. I like that he's a big kid. I like his comics. I don't like that his albums are short :) (Mr Kochalka please, if you read these reviews, make the next album longer!). That almost cost this album a star, but its still got enough "Kochalka Quality" to float 5 stars and repeat listens. (Digital Elf gets dinged though - it was waaay short....).

I would say my favorite song for a party or car mix tape would be "Cocaine" ("How we Rock.." being a close second), the perfect song to listen to with your mother would be "wash your ass" (also a life lesson), and the best song for a Halloween album "Spread Your Evil Wings" - buy the album its great. Buy the other albums they are great too.

"Cocaine" and "Britney's Silver Box" are the standout tracks here in my opinion. The production is really good and the backup vocals really add to the stereo spectrum. Justin Timberlake Justin Timberlake Justin Timberlake.
