No need to say this collection is a PERFECT COMPANION to 1999's "Summer Jazz. The Artist line-up is almost, but not quite the same as "Summer Jazz" but does feature the All-Time Favorite Artists like: Modern Jazz Quartet, Sonny Stitt, Hank Crawford. The new Added Artits are: Grant Green, Ray Bryant, Woody Shaw, Kenny Bureell, Pat Martino, Les McCann, Don Patterson with his repeated performance of "Whistle While You Work" which can be found on "Party Jazz" (It works on this collection, but another Track could have been used). Yes! It's safe to say this collection was well put together and the songs were carefully selected (Except for the repeat). I'm just waiting on the United States Postal Service to deliver
"Winter Jazz". 32 Jazz Records DID NOT make a "Fall Jazz", so you won't see review from anybody because they (32) NEVER made one!. If the "Winter Jazz" is anything like this one (As well as "Summer Jazz")...I'm waiting with baited breath!

I just remembered what would have put the icing on the cake on this "Spring Jazz" collection...Somebody's version of "Spring Can Really Hang You Up The Most" or even "It Might As Well Be Spring". BOTH can be found on other 32 Jazz compilations, but why wasn't at 1 (One) of them included on this one??? Nevertheless, this is still a PERFECT COLLECTION, And if by chance you already own these (Like I've been telling you) ADD THIS and you'll be an happier camper! Another must-have for this die-hard and hard core Jazz lovers.
