I can't open a cat food can without this! This one was a gift for my sister-in-oaw who also loves it.

This is a must have in kitchen for opening milk containers etc with pull-type handles, cans of food with metal pull tops. Bought several for relatives and friends.

I like the size of this ring pull opener. It adds leverage to some of the more difficult cans I've encountered. The appearance of the item is nothing fancy-- just insert the hook under the tab, ensure you have a firm grip of the can and pull/lean. I'd buy this again.

I used to avoid cans with the pull tabs whenever I could (which is getting harder and harder all the time) because the tabs would snap off or it took too much effort to get the lid to come off... but not anymore. Now I have no trouble what so ever opening the ring pull top cans and I haven't had a single tab/ring break loose since I bought this wonderful little gadget. I can't believe how well it works. I bought several more for various family members. I also bought an extra for myself just in case the first one gets lost someday.
Even if you don't have health issues that make it hard to open cans you will still find that this item makes your life a lot easier.

This ring pull can opener has instructions that require you to lift the tab top ring before inserting the can opener. This item only peels back the lid, it does not lift the tab. If I could pull the tab up I probably would not need this device. It is brittle plastic and I think the "hook" will snap off if you use it much. The Campbell tab can opener is much sturdier and a better design for comfort and works really well (althought the handle smells funny). I am returning mine and ordering anotherCampbell's "Pop 'n Pull" Can Tab Lifter

Wonderful product. An auto accident left me with pain and a little weakness in my hands, and I've had some difficulty opening ring top cans. When more and more companies switched to the ring tops, I went in search of something to make it easier to open them. I've been using this tool for about a year now and it is a godsend - it opens all kinds of cans with ease. Quick, nearly effortless, and no pain. Now if they'll just invent something to help with those insidious little plastic pull tabs on shelf-stable boxes of soy milk and soup!

another must-have item for the kitchen,

I have cats. And cats eat cat food that comes in cans with ring-pull tops. (As do a lot of canned goods nowadays..soups, chili, sardines, spam, etc.) This is a lifesaver! One easy swoop and the lid is off...no more breaking the ring, or cutting your finger on the sharp edges of the lid as you pull it off. Just make sure you are near the sink, so you can just flick the lid into the sink when done. Great stocking stuffer!

It works!,

I have weakness in my hands which makes opening products with pull tabs difficult. I have used this item to successfully open soup and sardine cans. I'm able to open things slowly without making a mess. I only wish I had found this item sooner.
