I needed to adjust a couple of Seiko folded-link watch bracelets with the removable L-shaped pins. This tool did not work right out of the box. The length difference between the long pointed jaw and the short flat jaw was too great. Also, the tip of the pointed jaw was too fat to go into the available hole on the bracelet. But with a little filing and grinding on the jaws, things were made right and the task went smoothly after that.
This is a cheaply made and somewhat crude tool, but it is very reasonably priced. A professional watch repairman would doubtless sneer at it, but if, like me, you only adjust a watch bracelet once every year or two, it is adequate. They would probably sell a lot more of these if they described them as something like "Pliers for Removing Watch Bracelet/Band Links".
