I know it is a little more expensive than other swings, but this is an excellent swing. It is very comfortable, and the rope means no pinches. It is comfortable for any size, anything from little kids, right up to above average adults. It seems durable, doesn't weaken or lose colour in the sun. It is very strong, and very thick.

I ordered this swing as a second swing for my daughter's swingset. The set we bought came with one swing, a glider and acrobatic bar. She's too small for the acrobatic bar so I wanted to add a second swing for when she has a friend to visit. The swingset company is Canadian and doesn't sell their accessories in the US and aren't set up to sell straight to the consumer. The customer service rep. said I could just buy a third-party swing. I found this one and it looked really nice and matched the existing swing. When I got it, I discovered that the swing company recommends you use a specific type of hanger to attach the swing. The hanger didn't come with the swing and you couldn't buy it from the company. I just thought all swings were hung with chainlink from a S hook, but apparently not. We were able to buy a piece of chainlink and the clamps needed to attach it to the S hook on the swingset. It will work just fine, but if I'd known it needed special hardware and didn't come with it, I'd have looked elsewhere before making a purchase.

My grandchildren were very pleased with the new swing attached to our ancient oak tree. It provided swinging for the entire visit to Grandma and Grandpa for a range of ages.

I replaced the ropes with chain (using large S hooks to connect) and slipped clear, plastic protective tubing around the top of each chain to protect the large oak branches it was going to go over. It worked beautifully. I made a good product even better. I love the swing (and so do our neighbor's children)!

I wish I had seen the most recent customer review! The swing does not include any hardware to attach it to a chain. I am very disappointed and will be returning it. This should have been indicated in the description provided by the manufacturer.

Wonderful!!!! Have had this product several years now and no signs of wear and tear. We leave it out in the weather year round too. I highly recommend this product.

I love to swing on this too...but my granchildren are on it every time they visit...it swings across the entire yard. We hung it from the Oak tree out back....I love this.

I was glad to have read earlier reviews which explained the absence of hardware with this item (the swings come with rope, but no hanging mechanisms). We bought two swings for our twin daughters and replaced the ropes with chains which cost us about $50 at the local hardware store. Still, it was money well spent since our kids absolutely LOVE their new swings and spend literally hours on them each day. The vinyl seats are very comfortable, much better than the molded plastic seats that are available elsewhere.
