Watch: Lots of typos and mistakes in Spanish!,
By A Customer
This review is from: Springhouse Notes (English and Spanish Medical Words and Phrases) (Paperback)
I bought this book because it is an interesting tool bothfor translators and interpreters. But oops! what my surprise was when I read the Spanish translation. There are lots of Grammatical mistakes, such as accents, change in the gender of the nouns and articles, etc. Lots of typos, widows, etc. I called the translator, PhD Glafyra Ennis who confirmed So, those who are not Spanish native speakers, be careful Good luck.

Good if you're already at advanced-level Spanish proficiency,

I find this book really helpful for reviewing conversational idioms and Spanish medical vocabulary, but this book could be risky for beginning-level Spanish speakers. There are so many typos--wrong gender and especially missing accent marks! (ex. cardiaco, nausea--without the accent marks you will be pronouncing these wrong!)--if you don't already have a pretty good grip on Spanish, you could embarrass yourself, or worse, fail to make yourself understood.
