Wonderful comforter & shams! lame sheets that don't match,

Great purchase on sale from Macy's! The shiny comforter and shams have 3 wonderful color stripes in a grey/?/plum. The shiny bedskirt is more of the plum to mauve color. However, the sheets are beige with brown border and don't match whatsoever! Comforter is surprizingly super warm, but not long enough cover top of bed to bedskirt at base.
