At first I didn't see but one flea on the trap so I decided I may have chose a poor location. I moved it closer to wear my dogs sleep at night and it appears to be working. The trap has gotten pretty full in a matter of days and not only caught fleas but mosquito's and other tiny flying creatures I was unaware flew in.

It's not the only solution to having a flew problem but it's been a big help to me. You will still need to use a flea comb and comb your pets every day or other day out doors, and you'll still need to treat your yard due to other animals coming around. I put "Dawn" dish soap in a bowl with water and dip the comb in between combing my pets. The ones I don't get with the comb the flea trap seems to get, so I think I have this whole flea situation under control now. I would recommend this product at helping to get rid of fleas.

This little sticky pads are fantastic!

I had purchased 6 of the flea traps and placed them all over my home. These pads allow no escape for trapped fleas. I hate to admit it, but I gloated over the many many many bodies stuck to the pad when I went to change it out for a new one.

I guess we had a dud dose of Advantage that month, and fleas were everywhere--so we pulled out all the stops and tried everything... another dose of Advantage for the dog and the inside cats, Frontline in the food I leave out for the feral cats who come by, diatom dust on the rugs. We took a chance on these flea traps because we didn't want to bomb the house with pesticides, powders or sprays.

FLEA TRAPS ROCK!

Any flea that escaped the animals was attracted to the warm light on the trap---and fell onto the sticky paper, from which there is no release. Problem solved.

These traps and their sticky paper really let you grasp the scope of a flea infestation. Flea populations increase exponentially if allowed, so buy these traps, change the paper when they are full, (they last too--one sheet per got me thru an entire attack). I leave the traps plugged in always now, and I keep a spare pack of the capture pads too -- just in case of another attack. I am sooo ready.

Buy replacements at your local pet store or home improvement center - they'll be a lot cheaper.

These pads along with the flea trap are the best way to rid thousands of fleas. I tried bombing a room twice before I got these pads and traps and the bombing never even affected the fleas. After using these pads/traps for several days, my room was 100% flea free.

We did the soap & water in a shallow pan with a candle in the middle and it works too! But with the traps, you can count them easily... It truly works!

This is a great product and at the same time a safe product if you have young children.

They are nice and sticky!! This is a great way to kill fleas - it works much better than sprays and bombs with no stink!! (the clean up is a little disgusting but much better than having bad smells in your house for days.

I would recommend this product to anyone! We had an issue with one of our dog's monthly flea medication and when we brought it up to the vet, they stated that we received a "bad batch"... We had so many fleas in the house and tried everything from flea collars, sprays and powder.. I went online and read some reviews on the Springstar Flea Trap and decided to give it a try... We are glad we did!I bought 6 traps and spread them throughout the house and after just one night, all the traps had at least 12-15 fleas in them! Amazing! We did use the flea bomb as well as a spray on various surfaces such as the couch, dog beds, etc.... We have been flea free for about 2 weeks now and I still have the flea traps plugged in for that extra protection! I would definitely recommend this product to anyone that has a major flea issue down to just keeping them in your home for the summer season...

I think if I was just using this alone, I would have more fleas jumping around here, but I use it and also a flea spray on the cats and bedding, and it does a great job at reducing, or most days, eliminating the problem. This does work even though I use it with a flea spray, because when I change the glue pad it's loaded with fleas. I'd recommend it, although not as an only solution, but it does a good job at what it's supposed to do.

(This review is for the capture pads, because that's what I bought, but they need to be used with the light unit that the pads fit into, also.)

These are wonderful traps! I bought 3 and the one in the living room started filling up slowly, but the fleas are migrating there and I expect to be flea free very soon! I use spot flea treatment on my cats, too, and wash bedding in hot water weekly. Vacuum frequently. My cat even sleeps next to the trap as she likes the warmth and seems to know it's there to help. The cost is minimal to the aggravation of indoor fleas.
