5.0 out of 5 stars Works perfectly
I don't know what the other reviewer was reading, I have the same product and it says nothing about boiling water, just dissolve in warm water with a few drops of dish soap. It does need to be used with a trap, but the one that hey sell is only an empty plastic spice jar - you could use anything that has a small entrance but a decent liquid surface area. We've had two...

1.0 out of 5 stars Didn't Work
The lure required you to boil water first, seems unnecessary. But it was really, really disappointing when it didn't work! There aren't many fruit fly products out there. Not a single fly in more than a week!! Try melon propel instead, that worked for me.

It does need to be used with a trap, but the one that hey sell is only an empty plastic spice jar - you could use anything that has a small entrance but a decent liquid surface area. We've had two infestations this summer and Biocare has cleared them both up in 2-3 days, catching literally hundreds of fruit flies.

If you have a problem with fruit flies, this is your remedy! No matter how well I wash my fruit when I bring it home from the market, I always seem to get an infestation of fruit flies in my home. This product lures them into the glass container I also purchased on Amazon and they are gone! I have purchased this product every year for at least the past 3 (maybe more) years and will continue to do so. 4 stars here!

Our house gets overrun with fruit flies in the Summer. These lures (2 in a package) worked very well to help take care of the situation.

This product works really well. After trying less effective formulas from friends and internet,I decided to give this a try. It works great in our traps, and it does the best job out of everything I have tried to keep my kitchen free of fruit flies in the summer.

This stuff kills the fruit flies dead. Rinse out after a month and replace the lure, they'll be dead a second month in a row too!

This stuff really works. We have a lot of fruit and veggie scraps that I compost. It took about a week but we are rid of all the fruit flies.

I bought one of your lures for $6.00 and it had only one lure. I just bought 3 pkgs of the exact same lure only it has 3 lures per pkg and was only $3.95 each!!!!!! I bought it at healthgoods.com.

I'am disapointed that Amazon.com would charge such an out rageous price for just one lure.SHAME ON YOU!!!!!

The title suggests that this is all you need to make a fruit fly trap but it is a refill. Nothing else came with it. I don't know what to do with it. Very disappointing.
