Bugs aren't attracted to it even though it says there's bait in it. Bugs don't stick to it. The glue on the edges isn't that strong so bugs are able to escape (tested manually by getting bugs to walk into the trap)

I have given this product 5 weeks--in my garage and attic, both of which have spiders, and I assume silverfish. With the traps in those areas, I have killed spiders in the garage and on the ceiling of my bedroom a few yards from the opening to the attic. To date, not one spider or silverfish. The box states "Safe, Effective and Non-Toxic." I would re-phrase that to "Safe, Non-Toxic, and totally Ineffective." Save your money.

Even though I have my home treated for spiders, they seem to hide out in the basement. I put a couple of these traps near my treadmill because that's where I see spiders most often. Ha! I've seen two big guys walk right through them and keep on going. I had to chase them down with a broom. If you want a trap that works, try Real Kill Glue Traps for Mice and Household insects. Once the spider steps on the sticky surface, he's done for. I put them in the four corners of my basement, near the basement casement windows, near the treadmill and on both sides of the inside basement entry door. Instructions do say to keep them out of reach of children and pets. If you touch them, you need to use vegetable or baby oil to remove them from skin. Hopefully, Amazon carries them--I got my Real Kill Glue Traps at Home Depot.

Followed all the instructions, but the traps didn't catch any spiders after six months. Maybe only attracts specific species of spiders.

This seems like a good idea and the traps did collect a few bugs but a couple months later, I still have silverfish crawling around. Not worth the price.

I think the people who have used this and wrote a negative review, did not place the traps in the right places. It's LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION!!

Each one of my trap has anywhere from 10-30 spiders in it! So, I can not complain and ordering more for this coming winter.
