In this video I show how the bath ball works and did some chlorine testing to see how well it removed the chemical. It did a good job. After all this is not a extremely accurate test, but gives a good understanding that it is removing some chlorine. Here is a link to the tester I used. Also the other products in the bath

I read the reviews before purchase so knew the drawbacks. However, I really want to reduce my chemical exposure, especially in the bath. We have hard water so getting a whole house filter is out of the question, but I'd like to get rid of chlorine so wanted to give this a try. I take a lot of Epsom salts baths.

After some finagling I got this to work on my bathtub faucet. I will upload photos showing the final results and also why I had issues. Your bathtub faucet might be different and thus you may or may not have issues.

I have an old 70's yellow tub with one handle to adjust hot and cold. I also have a toggle switch to open and close the drain. I discovered that this was getting in the way due to the location. It sticks out of the tub under the faucet and pushes the filter forward. Also the faucet spout has a downwards angle so both issues caused the filter to fall off. I did not want to permanently attach the sticky thing to the faucet and I'm not sure it would hold give the issues ... After looking at it all my husband and I rigged it with a big rubber band. In the future I may get a string. I also had to not turn the water on full boar to reduce the amount of overflow. Once I figured all of this out it worked just fine. A noticeable difference in my bath water and how soft and clean I felt when done (no more chlorine smell or dryness).

However, just be prepared that you might need to do some critical thinking/problem solving depending on your tub set up. Overall, I am satisfied, but the extra work was worth it to me. You know yourself best and will know if you can tolerate taking time to make it work.

I'm going to upload a couple photos that I think is a much better representation of this product than the official one. The image makes it look like the "bowl" is much smaller than it actually is, and like it needs that top metal pull up piece to hold it on. It also looks to have only one velcro strap, but it has two.

For my faucet it works great. Easily went on the first time. Easy to remove just the bowl part (when wanting unfiltered water to wash out the tub, for example). And definitely ends the chlorine gas bath I had been getting. I literally breathe easier with this little device in use.

You do want to have separate hot and cold taps if you want a hot bath, since turning the nozzle enough to get hot water may result in too much water pressure for the size of the bowl. But as my photos show, a pretty good amount can go through without spilling over and missing the filtering. I have no problem, so depending on how much water pressure you have and how patient you are to fill your bath, you may or may not. For me when I put hot on max and cold just the amount to get the temp I want the bowl does not overfill.

I just moved into a new house and our water smells like a swimming pool! My 20 month old has eczema which got much worse since we moved here. I got this to help make her baths more gentle. I have two problems with this product: The first is that I had a hard time getting it to stay on the faucet. The velcro straps were no match for water rushing out of the faucet and through this filter. I had to rig up an elastic headband and loop it around the water knob to get it to stay on, which is even more unsightly than the product itself.
The second problem is that my water still smells like chlorine! I try to convince myself that it smells *less* chlorinated, but I'm really not convinced.

I bought this mainly because it said that it fit all faucets. Well, I must be the only person on the planet with the kind of faucet I have, because it doesn't fit mine. I was very disappointed, because I would REALLY like to get rid of the horrible chlorine smell every time I take a bath. I waited too long to try it for the first time, so it's too late for me to send it back. But remember this: it only fits standard faucets, so the only way I could use it is if I sat in the tub holding the darn thing directly under the faucet until the tub was full. Because I believed their product description, for me, it is quite literally money down the drain.....

Normally I don't include videos, but because some folks have been complaining about keeping the filter in place, I wanted to share my trick.

I am a chewing gum and tape kind of gal and I will always figure out something when problems arise. If you have the same setup as I do, and you don't care how it looks (I don't because my bath tub curtain hides it and no one takes baths except me), this will work. I have three ornate knobs. One each for cold and hot, and a central to control shower and faucet. As you can see, my faucet is shaped very badly to accommodate the Velcro setup. I just wrapped the Velcro and used Zip ties to hook the Velcro to the central knob. It works fine. If it hadn't, I would have tried Gorilla tape or tried to find a waterproof tape if that didn't work. There has to be one out there.

The only reason I gave the Sprite 4 stars is because it does tend to fill up and overflow if you turn up your water to full power. My water flow isn't all that strong, so it's OK with me.
