Product Description
Sensing movement
Hearing voices

Ghost Radar attempts to detect paranormal activity. Working on the same principle as traditional paranormal detection equipment, the app employs your mobile device's sensors to measure electromagnetic fields, sounds, and vibrations. But while traditional tools are easily fooled by bursts of normal electromagnetic energy, stray vibrations, and background sounds, Ghost Radar sets itself apart by analyzing its readings and indicating hits only for interesting patterns.

Detecting and Recording Activity

To improve your chances of finding paranormal signatures, the app enables you to easily adjust its sensitivity to control for noise. Collected information can be displayed either numerically or graphically, appearing similar to a radar display. Any interesting words it detects are repeated by a recorded voice and logged for future reference. Directions and an FAQ can be found in the Menu.

Please note that there is no guarantee of Ghost Radar's accuracy since results cannot be verified scientifically. The app should be used for entertainment purposes only.

5.0 out of 5 stars Awsome!!!! October 10, 2012

I got this on my Kindle Fire, Loading and use are flawless. I am part of a paranormal research team and this is soooo much better than a ghost box. If you use it where there's nothing there, you get random words, but if you use it in the right place it's great ! Just give it about a 1/2 hour to adjust to the envirorment before you take it seriously. I also like the radar so you can see any energy that is around. We assume these are equal to the orbs we get on video. It also keeps a history of "words spoken" so you don't even have to be with it. You can review them later. It will run 3 to 4 hrs. which is plenty of time for an investigation. LOVE IT !!!

5.0 out of 5 stars Real or not..Its freaky May 8, 2012

So this morning I downloaded the classic version (free)on Amazon for my Kindle Fire. I opened the the app and almost right away a red dot showed up and it said my grandfathers name..not his real name but the name the grand kids called him. There is NO WAY that the app could have known that as there is nothing in my kindle.. apps, documents pictures, profiles or anything that would know that, and no one in the room was talking about anything or anyone at the time so a mic couldn't have picked up on anything we might have said. So real or not, in my opinion there has to be something to this. I just download the paid version (for .99 cents)that is said to be more advanced and I will be spending the overnight monitoring whatever goes on. I searched the net and alot of sites said 3am is the "dead" hour so we'll see what kind of activity happens. If your curious try the free version first and check it may be surprised at what happens. If something doesn't happen right away, don't give up..give it a chance. I've had it running for the last 6 hours and dots pop-up and words appear. Just not constantly. Most have no meaning to me, but that doesn't mean its not real. I know some of the people say its fake and alot say its real..all I know is what happened with me this morning was real enough for me to investigate further. It may be a bunch of BS but its going to be fun finding out. If you do download and try it go to the apps website and its explains how to works.

My friend and I were messing with this app and had the phone set on the coffee table. My friend was holding my dogs ball in front of him and the dog was just sitting there staring at the ball and the app then put the word "Throw" on the screen. We freaked, he tossed it, the dog caught it and the app then put the word "Victory" on the screen. No B.S. I don't know if it reads dog minds or the ghost was saying it but it was really weird. Probably just a coincidence, but it did really freak us out for a minute.

4.0 out of 5 stars creepy! October 27, 2011

I was sitting on my couch playing with this skeptically, and as soon as I launched it it said "proof" then a few seconds later it said "bark". My dog almost immediately started barking. Very, very strange indeed, especially since I've never had any unexplained occurrences at home. I can't wait to take this to work, where we regularly have things happen that aren't easily explained.

5.0 out of 5 stars My first real contact (?) October 19, 2012
I've had this app(Ghost Radar Legacy) for almost 2 years now. It is great for entertainment. However the possibility to believe it to actually work as a radar/communication tool is increasing for me to believe it really does work after today. There were incidents in the past, but not like this. As of today I highly believe it can be used to communicate with ghosts/spirit's. I took that step and tried to communicate with my grandfather, asking for him, asking him questions. On the radar, the word came up 'Paul' which is his name. Then 'attention' came up right after. Yeah, that got my attention too haha. There were other random words in between. But that is what this app does, tries to put the words together. However the next word after the random words, the word 'provide' came up, in which he did. Anyhow, I could make a story out of this, but to make it short, the following word that spooked me as well, (but was relieved I guess? to believe that I was communicating with my g-father) was when the word 'farm' came up. It was what he did, he was a farmer, very hardworking farmer to provide for his family. He passed away of emphysema, from farming(from my understanding).
I must say I am usually skeptical, but I do have an open mind because you just never know ;)

4.0 out of 5 stars HTC Thunderbolt October 27, 2011

Thanks to this app I found out that my house is haunted.

While I was working on my computer I fired this app up having no idea what to expect. I clicked on the "Radar" button and it showed 3 blue dots to my right, and 2 yellow ones in front of me. Then my phone says, "Ignore". I figure it's telling me to ignore the dots. (Which I assume were ghosts)?

Then my phone starts popping off word after word. Are these ghosts having a conversation? It seemed like all nonsensical words. Well after a couple of minutes of this I said aloud, "Go away ghosts, I'm trying to work here!"

Suddenly the radar went blank and for the next 20 minutes not another word came out of my phone. I finished my work and turned the app off.

Freaky Man!

I thought this would be fun and silly . It's not. It's just plain boring. I think that teens might enjoy this. I have better things to do.
