I bought this for my 8 year old granddaughter. We read the book together and she really enjoyed it. It's hard to find a wholesomestory for children or adults Jannette Oke does it everytime.

This story really kept the children's attention while teaching them a valuable life lesson - Even though you may not like someone at first, give them a chance. You may not know the whole situation. We also enjoyed trying to find Spunky's ball that was hidden on each page.
