This is just a fun toy to play with when your 8 years old.

I don't know how educational it is, except it tells time and you have to have some amount of memory capabilities in order to remember how to press teh buttons and make it do what you want it to do.

My eight year old has recently been interested in spies, spying on others, being sneaky. With this in mind he got this watch from Grandma for his birthday.

It tells the time, there is a little cover that pops up and down on it, and there are buttons to push that make this watch do other sneaky things. This watch has been put in my son's 'spy bag' which is any backpack he has on hand. It has been stuffed to the bottom of this bag and it has not broken yet. It has also been slept on, slept in, and dropped behind the bed. It has been inside and outside. This is a big hit and it has been very sturdy.

Enjoy.

I purchased this item to go along with other spy gear purchased for christmas. It has many features including world clock. This hasn't been used quite as much as the Voice Changer but it does still get used.
Pretty durable and overall easy to use.

Got this watch for my son who turned 7 yrs old. He loves it the only things i have to complain about is that it has lillte message tubes they are hard to open and hard to get out. The other complaint is that it comes with secret spy paper but in order for it to work you need to buy the secret spy pen ( sold seperatly). Other then those two complaints I have it is great.

Got this for the kid and- surprise, surprise- he loved it. I think a lot of moms don't understand that, so that's where dad comes in, doesn't it? This watch is a good little gift. Not quite as fun as the mirror shades (you can see behind you), but my son still loved this. Highly recommended.

My son is only 6, and he wanted the more sophisticated, very pricey spy watch, but he was still happy when Santa brought this one. He is too small to understand the functions completely, but loves the motion sensor and keeps it on his doorknob to keep his sister out of his room. It's worth the price and seems to hold up to typical boy treatment. I would buy as a gift for another child or recommend as a starter for the kids who want to be a "spy". I rated a 3 on the fun factor only because it's a door alarm for the time being and not being used in imaginative play.

I got this for a birthday present for our son. He flipped out! He didn't really read the instructions because all he cared about is that it's a SPY WATCH! He wears it almost all the time and it has survived many drops. He has started asking about other time zones because of this, so that's a nice bonus.

I bought this watch for my son when he was about 6. He loved it. Wore it every day. Annoyed his teacher, daycare provider and me by "keeping time." "How long til dinner Mom?" "About 20 minutes." "Mom, it's been 21 minutes, where's dinner??"

This watch survived being stuffed in the bottom of a backpack nearly daily. It kept good time and the spy factor made it extra fun. He wore it constantly and when he finally lost it, I bought him a new one. Durable, lasting fun. How often do you get all that for this price?

Now, my daughter is 7 and interested in spyware. I'm buying one for her for Christmas this year!

We ordered this watch for my son's birthday. After removing the watch from the package, we tried to set the correct time and see what things it could do. We were unable to set the time. After a trip to the store for a new battery, we replaced the battery, which was quite a chore. The instructions say to have a jeweler replace the battery, but with a young child anxious to play with his new toy, we did it.

It appeared that this was not a new product. There was a Kohls price sticker on the back of the package that had the price peeled off (like you might do if you were giving a gift). We expect better from Amazon. When an order is placed, we expect a new, working toy when we open the package.

Once we got it working, the watch is a fun addition to my son's spy gear.

Here is the feedback from my 8 and 5 year-old sons: "I like to play spy games with my friends when they come over. This watch has a night light, a watch [which works], and these 2 pods with a paper in it so you can take secret notes." The boys would wear their watches for a long time and play spy games.

Overall, as the mom, this watch has spent more time on the shelf than on their wrists. I think it's only OK. I don't think they would notice if it went missing. My 8 year-old describes it as "awesome!!" but I added the word "partially" because he really doesn't play with it that often.
