4.0 out of 5 stars more difficult than the others
As the other reviewers indicated, there are some creepy clowns on each page. The bunny is a bit freaky, at times, as well.
This is a more challenging book than some others in the series. More than difficulty in finding the objects, some clues are a bit obscure for children (and adults). For instance, the "owlish eyes" aren't on an owl!

2.0 out of 5 stars Freaky-looking clowns, yikes
I just had to say that when I read the other review that said the clowns in here were too scary looking, I chuckled-- until I took a look at the book myself and saw them! Today I was in B&N and saw this book, and I must say those freaky clowns on each page ruin this book. I love these I Spy books, but although I don't get scared by clowns, I do wish they chose a set of...

Today I was in B&N and saw this book, and I must say those freaky clowns on each page ruin this book. I love these I Spy books, but although I don't get scared by clowns, I do wish they chose a set of cute little clowns instead. Try the Spooky House I Spy book-- so cute and fun!!

The book arrived in great condition. The pictures are very beautiful with vibrant colors. Appropriate for 10 years-old and younger, I think. My God-Daughter loved it.

5.0 out of 5 stars More fun from Walter Wick..., January 15, 2012
No one can even come close to Walter Wick when it comes to I Spy. "Fun House" is no exception. It also happens to be one of my favorites of the series. The pictures are bright, vivid, and colorful. Keep in mind that this is not just for little kids, it's for just about anyone. Whether your 5 or 50 or even 100, I Spy just never gets old. Even when you you've found the object once and think you've found it for life, I guarantee, if you try it again, it'll seem as if it's brand-new. That's why I Spy books never get old. It can even be played together with family and friends. Trust me, it can be funner with more players. The only downfall with this specific title is the creepy clowns. If you're easily skittish with these types of things or have what they call "coulrophobia", I don't recommend this book. Call me crazy, but these guys are kinda creepy. That aside, "I Spy: Fun House" is a great book. I also appreciate the fact that it's in hardcover.

2.0 out of 5 stars The clowns are awful, April 24, 2011
My kids enjoy the I Spy series. This one has the same great concept as the other books in this series. However, the clowns in this book look evil. I know it sounds strange. Before purchasing this book take a close look at the clowns on the cover and then picture them peering at you from every page. If you are ok with that then go ahead and purchase. If you have an hesitation then buy another book in the series.
