My ten-year-old son eats these books up. They've all been updated since we were kids to include modern gizmos & technology today's kids find cool. Even the personalities of the Hardy Boys are more modern, yet still positive. HIGHLY recommend!

THese books are very interesting with lots of action. I am 10 years old and I love to read. I read lots of different kinds of books. My father gave me some of his old Hardy Boy books. They were boring. The new Hardy Boys are different. They are much more exciting. Take my word for it, you will like these books.

I bought these for my son who has been reading the original Hardy Boys books. He really likes the new version as well.

I bought this group of books for my 2nd grade grandson. He loved the series. At first he thought they were too hard to read and mom was reading them to him. He found he could read them. He reads every night and mom said he would come down stairs laughing and giggling, telling them what occurred in the story. Not only was he reading, but he was retaining what he read. Mom said that they were updated Hardy Boy's books. They had ipods etc. in them. Thank you for making these available. Grandma

I chose the Hardy Boys for my grand-son, because at age 11 he's now into reading mystery stories. I've read almost if not all the hardy boys books, and I thoroughly enjoyed them. I believe they're great reading for kids who have an inquisitive mind.

These books are updated for modern times and written in first person with chapters alternating between Frank and Joe telling the story. The elements the made the original series such classics are still here - the stories move along at a quick pace that keeps you turning the pages and almost every chapter ends with a cliff hanger. But now the brothers are part of the ATAC (American Teens Against Crime), a top secret agency that uses teenagers for missions where adult agents would stand out. The stories will appeal to most young boys and are packed with action to keep their attention. My son loves them and can't get enough!

Great beginner set of Hardy Boys books. Great choice for any boy, or girl, for that matter.

My 10-yr.-old grandson specifically asked for this set. He started reading as soon as he could get the box open!

I bought these Hardy Boys books for a young friend of mine who claimed he did not like to read. He read the first book in the series and told me all about it. He has learned that reading for recreation can be enjoyable.

I read the Hardy Boys books when I was a teenager (in the late 50's and early 60's). I am glad that the series has continued. It is perfect for young boys.

My son is 8 years old and loved these books! They use real life situations and apply them to fun mysteries. He read all of them in a row and was bummed when he finished. Highly recommended.
