Man, I bought this gun and it got here quickly, which is saying a lot since I live in Alaska. Anyways, the gun came in perfect condition. The whole set was really cool and I didn't have a problem with anything. The gun feels very nice in the hands. It feels like a solid paintball gun. I haven't played any games with it yet, but I shot a bunch of balls and they all did very well. This set has everything to get started paintballing and I would highly recommend it to anyone wanting to get started.

Edit: Ok, so I played a bit with the gun and so far it is awesome! Very accurate for a stock barrel. I was hitting people left and right. This is a great package for someone just getting started! Well worth it.

I was at Scheels one day and I saw a MR1 sniper kit for $170 and you got the gun, a tank, a hopper, and a mask which is still a pretty good deal but when you get all the other stuff with it that just makes it soooooo much better. The gun is great shoots very fast and my friend doesn't want to play with me now because he is too afriad of it. The only trouble I had was the remote coil didnt come with instructions but thanks to good old YouTube i got it all figured out!

I have heard alot of people complain about this marker but when I bought it I loved it! It is the most accurate marker I have fired yet! This is a really good package and is a great value! But I would recomend a longer barrel and a better hopper. But even as it is, it is a good marker.

Really good marker for starter. if your looking for a true tournament and woodsball marker this isn't it.

things to note:

the harness that comes with it is god awful, I'm a waist 32 and the harness would fit a waist 40 or even bigger. a good harness shouldn't cost you more than $40. (i paid mine for $70 from a paintball shop-i'm still kinda miffed about it)

i upgraded the barrel to 16", its well worth the upgrade. first shot i took did break, but after that it was fine. a few balls did stray but maybe because i didn't clean the barrel after the first break. this gun is definitely more accurate than a rental.

as for as getting an electric feeder, you don't need to get one, unless you have a spare. contrary to the other review you can't "master the double trigger" because this gun does not have 2 contact points.

this gun does not have true sights, but it really doesn't matter. you can't look down the barrel because your mask is in the way.

don't use this in the winter, the tank is C02 and it will most likely freeze.

Overall its well worth the price: the gun is normally 100, masks are 40, harness are 40, tank, hoppers, and accessories are ~10.

this package includes everything you need,they sent me a different mask than the one shown but still good.stock barrel is accurate. suggest get gloves.stock is good even with tank on

I'm not a hardcore paintball guy. I have a bunch of friends who play and they always want me to come join them. I found this kit ordered it and it works great for what I do. If you're looking to get into paintball hardcore, like the guys who think it's real combat, you will probably want to just buy all this stuff individually and get a Tippmann gun. If you're like me and you go out and play every couple of weeks this kit is fine. It's easy to clean, has everything you need to just go out and play. KEEP IN MIND: If you put optics on this gun, like some people like too, it's hard to see into them with your mask on and the shoulder stock on, (that unscrews). Overall great kit for people who are casual players.

I bought this package to start up a paintball shooting course with some of the youth from my church. The other young adults also purchased paintball guns most all of which were tippmann 98 custom. And by the end of the second round or war the kids wanted to use my gun due to the fact that it shot better, faster, and more acurate than the more expensive counterparts. This was a GREAT PURCHASE.

I ordered this in 6/6/10 and it got here on 6/14/10, longer than expected but it was coming from Georgia and I am in SoCal. After opening the box and having that period of Christmas excitement with my Son, I noticed that we were missing the masks,(we bought 2 sets). I had to wait until the next day to call Dorosports due to the time difference. Doro was helpful and sent the masks out 2 day air and I received them on 6/17/10, due to the fact that we were paintballing today ( friday)This is the first marker that I have ever owned and am completly satisfied with it. It shoots pretty far and with an electric hopper it shoots fast. although it is pretty loud so you cant hide very well. lol The hoppers and belt were good although I would recommend that you buy the suspenders for them because with 6 hopper full of paint and a tank on the back it gets heavy and tends to slide down when you run. The bag will fit the marker, barrel and stock, not much more. After one round one of the tanks wouldnt work anymore for some reason, we filled it but it wouldn't work so I had to spend $5 to rent one from the park and it worked fine. Not too pleased with that because now thats 2 issues that I have had to deal with.Oh yeah the masks arnt that great but they dont suck much either, way better than rentals.
Update: I actually thought this was a sniper set up. It is not. When I contacted Dorosports last week, they said that they were sorry and would send the right barrels on monday the 28th. along with a 10% refund for the trouble. I was going to order some upgrades from them anyway so I emailed Tonya and stated that it would be less hassle to just include the upgrades in the same box as the barrels. I waited all day and didnt get a response so I called again and spoke to Dustin (the same guy I spoke with about the barrels in the first place) and he told me that he meant to call me and tell me that the barrels were the right ones and that it is Amazons fault that the set is listed as a "Sniper Set". After a few minutes of conversations, he then stated that THEIR Sniper Set has a 12" barrel. The marker worked great but if you are thinking it has a long barrel and is a true Sniper Set, your wrong just like I was. I wont be ordering from DoroSports any longer, due to their lack of customer service. If you can get this from Ultimate Paintball, then do it its worth it.

it is a really good gun. strong nice sturdy. Great for paint balling and it is fun to use. I recommend a few modifications the hopper and the barrel. I recommend a cyclone 16 inch barrel and a viewloader revolution hopper.

I ordered the Spyder MR-1 Sniper Set on 02/22/10 & it arrived via UPS on 02/25/10. I have yet to use it but, the package is definitely worth it. The gun is hot and it comes with everything in the picture. GREAT! The only thing is that the mask I RECEIVED is smaller in length than the black one in the pic and my mask is gray. So, for $148.00 plus $5 for shipping this is a great deal! I'd say it's a good idea for beginners or experts to use. Thumbs up. I recommend this to anyone who's willing to save some $$$ & get the most for your bucks, this is definitely the big ticket!!!
