I have Purchased many Spydercos in my time. This is the second H1 blade I have purchased, I have the Atlantic Sale and as they say, it will not rust. Most stainless steel knives if introduced to salt water and not cleaned with start to rust. this blade steel will not rust. Fantastic if you fish or are hard on your stuff. Odd Blade shape, but sharp enough to shave with out of the box. Would recommend.

I'm a machinist and I work with tool steels every day. This knife's edge is tough and stays sharp. You better have a good stone and sharpening steel.
