It not easy to find a knife with a 2.5 inch blade and a full size grip. This is a fantastic knife for the niche that it serves. The secure environments I work in only allow 2.5 inch and below. This is one of my favorite for work hours.

The standard Spyderco Delica is excellent, and this one is too. But with a 1/2" shorter blade that allows it to be carried in places with more strict knife laws. This knife still gives you a hand filling grip, unlike most other 2.5" knives. The shorter blade also gives you a very sharp point (that regular Delicas lack). The clothing colored FRN choices look nice, and the matte finish on the blade and clip is nice for more discreet carry. Excellent self defense knife for 2.5" max areas, and also works well for utility and EDC.

I really like this knife. The VG10 steel is awesome to work with, the blade design is a great change from the normal design. My only negative comment is that the handles are a little long for such a short bladed knife. However, I understand its history and why they didi this so it is just a mater of personal taste. They did this so that people with larger hands could feel like they were holding a full sized knife, yet the blade had to be 2.5 inches or less to meet jurisdictional requirements. At any rate, I still like the knife in its entirety. While it is not my first choice for and EDC I really am a fan of the blade shape or design of this knife.
