I collect pocket knives. I have a collection of over 150 pocket knives. But for a general all around perfect knife to carry in your pocket you can't get a better knife than the Spyderco Dragonfly. I prefer the serrated edge for extra quick cutting, however, that is a personal choice. The Spydrco steel is incredible and of course the lock feature is a must. It is light weight, perfect for any purporse from cutting string to cutting boxes and stong and sharp enough to cut the seat belt if you had to...This is my second one and I'll never consider another pocket knife.

I lost my old AUS8 Dragonfly which was a great knife, surprisingly sharp and held its edge well. So I ordered this one thinking it would be an exact replacement. To my surprise the knife that arrived came with 2 upgrades. The one that arrived has the newer indent on the locking lever to make it less likely to unlock when gripping tight, unlike the knife pictured which does not. Also the big surprise is the knife is made out of a special steel, VG-10, made in Seki-City Japan, a huge quality improvement over the older AUS-8 which was more than adequate but this one is even better. Also the one I got has the laser engraved spyderbug on the blade unlike the one pictured. This is a premium knife, highly recommended.
