Everything good I read before buying this knife was true. It is very sharp and easy to sharpen with the proper spyderco tool. It (as I read in other reviews) shows sign of wear on the "1" in the "H1" logo on the blade - which is very small. Other than that, this knife is RUST PROOF, just give it a rinse when your done for the day. Mine sees a LOT of salt water and I purposely waited a few months before posting this review. This knife is the real deal.

Buy the sharpener too - especially if you get the serrated.

Also very light: under 3 oz for a strong big functional folder.
H-1 steel is different: no rust, for real.
Serrated blade is different times two: Usually plain edge spydies cost more but serrated H-1 spydies hold edge better and cost premium.
This serrated Pacific retains edge better than its plain brother.
I absolutely love it. As much as I like the plain one (I bought both) this one is the top dog.
Yellow is "Marine Yellow": Even if you are landlocked you can dream you fish commercially for black cod in Alaska.
There is even 1/2" plain edge at the tip if you ever need that.
50% choil would have been sweet but there is enough to choke the blade for extra control if necessary.
Strong buy (several).
(If you want a "little yellow different" spydie get a ladybug)

Salt / rust proof . Very knice full size made od one of the best stainless steels . This will be handy for my free diving trips . Great grip and visability . Blade is super sharp and can shave paper easily as a test . The grip fits like a glove . I reccomend this model ,A Plus :)
