This guide is a MUST for a successful game and getting 100% of everything! You still have to get through the flight levels by yourself (easier than Spyro 1); but to save frustration for kids AND parents, this is a great walkthrough! Some areas are pretty hard and the puzzles can be frustrating. With the guide in hand everything seems "right with the world!" Bombard Insomniac with requests for Spyro 3 - they're doing a GREAT JOB!

I found this to be a very neatly crafted guide, overall.

An area/level map heads every section, with the position of the various portals and orbs marked clearly. The information is laid out very nicely, with plenty of pictures to supplement the text.

While this guide offers many top-quality tips, you'll need to keep it close on hand while you play the game, as you'll find yourself flipping back and forth through the pages as Spyro flits from realm to realm. The design may take a bit of getting used to at first, but all in all, it's very helpful and a fairly good buy.

this is a great strategy guide because you really need it to get all the orbs and gems. some of the challenges are in secret areas and some of them are really hard and fustrating. anyone who has this game should get this guide.

Its a very helpful guide! It helped me get a lot of orbs. You should get it if you have Spyro 2:Ripto's Rage!

My daughter loves this game. She is 8 years old and plays it often. Highly receommend.

Autumn Plains home is the only place much needed for this guide.Except you should know to charge into the walls with cracks in them.And Metro Speedway.This guide is actually not all that helpful.
