For a long time I've been after some quirky eggs cups that differ from the norm. These cups appealed to me straight away.

These porcelain made cups are well balanced and do not tipple over when taking off the top of the egg or digging around with your spoon! They are much deeper than I expected and can take large sized eggs no problem. it was nice to get matching spoons but they are tiny. They're perfect for getting into the egg and scooping out its goodness, but taking some getting used to, to eat with.

When I was looking for egg cups I was surprised at the price range. These cups are high quality and visually appealing. I love that when I break into an egg, the cup's white on the outside/ yellow on the inside design mimic's the egg white and yolk.

I really like these and the fact that they are ceramic. The spoons are the perfect size for a soft boiled egg.

My sons developed a taste for soft boiled eggs after a trip to Germany last summer. We needed some egg cups. These fit the bill. They are a good price for 4 cups. The spoons are delicate, and do break if you drop them, but we use regular spoons, so this is not a problem. Small eggs sit low in this cup, but it still works. Large and extra large eggs fit well too. The yellow centers of these egg cups are fun. Very happy and satisfied.

These are wonderful ceramic holders. They hold the eggs steadily and are so attractive! They are sturdy also, which was a surprise. I love poached eggs and using these make it that much better.

very stout set. no need to worry about normal handling breakage. was well packed. nice box I keep them in it when not usuing.

The spoons are very small delicate, will fracture and break immediately if you tap them too hard on anything (like an eggshell). The cups on the other hand are solid and large, much too large, as a matter of fact, to hold immobile (needed to enjoy boiled eggs in the shell) even the most jumbo-sized eggs you can buy at the market. I ended up using these as shot glasses instead...
