Holy Cats, Batman! This figure is amazing! Easily one of the best, if not the best, figures from Square Enix (manufacturer of the Play Arts lines).

Starting with her resemblance to the character to the game, I'd have to say she's spot on. The DC Direct Catwoman looks like a man in drag and the Mattel Catwoman is just a bland figure. No, this right here is beyond perfect!

The one problem with any Play Arts figure is that they hand paint a lot of stuff, which can look really good...or really bad. Thankfully, my Catwoman came out beautifully. My friend however, his had a weird paint job on one eye that made it look like she had a black eye or something. From what I've seen it's rare for this figure, but it still happens. Other than that the paint apps are nice and clean, no smudging or paint drops, which is very impressive given the detail on her outfit.

Her actual mobility is surprisingly good! As the second female in the Batman Play Arts line, she is a big step up from Harley Quinn's figure. She's very easy to pose, I didn't have to worry much about being too gentle posing her. She doesn't have much in her costume to impede her movement. Another cool bonus, is on her feet, the front part of her foot swivels to help balance her out for the more action-oriented poses.

For accessories, she has 3 sets of hands. One set to hold things, another that's a little more relaxed and another set with her "claws" out for attack poses. She also comes with a whip, you can bend it and get it to hold its position a little, it's just rubber-plastic, nothing fancy. She also comes with a second head that features her with her goggles down.

Pristine condition. I got mass effect Garrus play arts kai a week ago and it was the best play arts kai figure i owned until Catwoman arrived today! If your a Batman franchise fan get this. Don't be suprise if they run out soon. Then price hike start to hit with ridiculous prices.

This figure does the legend justice, nice articulations with a interchangeable head, hands and a whip.
Absolutely perfect paint job and game accurate face mold. I could not be more pleased. I am able to pose her in much more dynamic poses than the other figures i own is just awesome. The character almost looks alive once you've stepped back to take a look at your work. Now like all play arts kai paint job is a hit or miss. As a play arts fan we all know they hand pain alot. I seen reviews of this same figure with a weird black shade near one eye, almost looking as she has a black eye. I was lucky and mine didn't had it. Packaging is really nice and has a lot of art from the game and has a small info about Robin as well.

If i had to point out something disappointing it had to be, she should come with her in game Bolas as an accessory as well.

Overall this is great product worthy of collectibility by any Catwoman fan. You wont regret it.

The sculpt and paint on this figure are top-notch. It's a perfect representation of the in-game Catwoman, and the accessories are excellent - open hands meant for clawing, as well as the whip (which looks good held loosely at the side or in an attack pose). The best part are the two different heads - one with the goggles up, one with them down. One of the hands is posed so that the fingers hold the goggles, in one of her signature poses. Poseability is excellent, allowing you to recreate pretty much any pose from the game.

The only problem I had with this figure is that the alternate head didn't fit onto the neck joint out of the box, meaning I had to widen the hole myself so that it would fit.

Still, that was just an inconvenience - I'd definitely recommend this figure to any fan of the game or character.

All these imported Play Arts Kai figures command a hefty price for action figures, but they do come in a larger scale, with better details, sculpting and articulation than most other action figures (the escalating price increases for domestic figures from Mattel and Hasbro for their smaller six inch scale figures are not relative to their value nearly as much). Therefore, I was glad to be able to physically feel the "heft" in the weight of these figures, even on smaller, female figures like this Catwoman.

Oftentimes, the problem with making action figures of comic characters, especially females who are portrayed with the usual exaggerated sexiness of an idealized female form, is getting poseability and usable articulation while being able to maintain that alluring feminine body shape. Usually, the tradeoffs for articulation make the woman look mannish or just silly or the lithe limbs make arms and legs too thin and breakable to move or for the figure to even stand on it's petite feet (like most Barbies).

This Catwoman figure, however, is a marvel of engineering and art. The brilliant articulation choices allow it to be put into a myriad of dynamic fighting, climbing, stealing, seducing and otherwise feline poses and yet from most views (aside from some odd looks with the double knee from certain angles) it is still able to retain a recognizable feminine shape.

The extra hands are helpful for a variety of poses and the head with goggles on and the one with goggles up are a nice addition, but I had a really hard time getting the goggles on one on the peg and will probably only keep one on for fear of breaking a peg trying to switch too many time. It would have been better to just have the goggles be moveable on their own.

All in all, a great addition to the other figures I have bought in this series and the best Catwoman figure made in any scale, in terms of sculpt, articulation and design.
