When out of the country, I accidentally exposed my iPhone to saltwater and completely ruined it. When I returned home, I put in my claim, and received immediate positive response that a refurbished phone would arrive via one day deliver; all interaction was automated and easy. All I would have to do is return my dead phone within 15 days of receipt. A day later, when expecting to receive the replacement, I was instead called by a customer service representative who informed me with profuse apology that they had incorrectly notified me, because my replacement was totally out-of-stock.

As my heart began to sink, he went further to inform me I had one of three options for replacing the phone:

1. Visit a local Apple Store with my deceased phone and pay the replacement fee for a NEW iphone of the same model, send SquareTrade the receipt, then be fully reimbursed.
2. Do the same thing online, which would involve additional delay due to swapping phones with Apple.
3. Choose to send my dead phone immediately to SquareTrade and get a refund of full value on the phone within a week to spend however I wished.

I chose option #3 and felt thoroughly relieved, but here's the part that has me thoroughly pleased. I had no more than used the shipping label they provided online and given the package to the carrier less than 12 hours before, when SquareTrade had posted the full value of the phone to my Paypal account!

I have NEVER experienced a warranty scenario that worked out so well and so speedily. And the apparent breakdown in the chain of replacement was not only immediately dealt with, and in person, but was compensated by scenarios that were not just equal to the expected; they were far superior!

I have a square trade warranty for my kindle and now my Iphone. Normally it only takes 2 or 3 minutes to reach a customer service rep on the phone and your problem is quickly taken care of. As well for anyone ordering this product, it is emailed to you not shipped. I didn't receive an email but was able to call them a few days later and set up the warranty. One other important fact is they only cover up to 600$ (at least in my case, 16gig iphone 5) meaning that similar to applecare + there is a limit to the amount of replacements you can receive due to mishandling your phone.

I purchased an iPhone for my thirteen year old son this past Christmas. He tends to be rough with his belongings, so I purchased a warranty from SquareTrade, hoping I would never need to use it.

Unfortunately, one of my son's friends stepped on the phone and cracked the screen. I submitted a claim through the SquareTrade website, which was a truly painless process. I was so happy that I didn't have to hunt around their website to figure out how to submit a claim.

Someone in SquareTrade's customer service department contacted me within a few hours, offering several options for fixing the damaged iPhone. I am impressed with the responsiveness (and friendliness) of SquareTrade's customer service, and I was pleased with how quickly they guided me through the processes of handling the claim and repairing the phone. I was even more pleased with how quickly my son's iPhone was replaced and with how fast I received my reimbursement check.

This is the third time I have contacted square trade in six months. Twice was for my daughters phone. I have four children (really adults) and we all have an iphone. I tried square trade when I got my iphone because the insurance plan with verizon was ridiculous. About $15 per month and $150 deductible. My phone stopped working last May and I was told by square trade to go to the apple store and pay the $149 fee to replace my phone. I emailed square trade the receipt and had a check in less than a week. My daughter broke her phone twice. We did the same thing and again, had a check within a week. I rave about square trade to everybody. It is more reasonable than other warranties and the service is terrific. They warranty more than phones, but I have not had a need to try their other warranties. But, I definitely will when the time comes.

I have bought multiple SquareTrade warranties for my familiy of iphones. My kids are very careful with their iphones, but lets face it, accidents happen. The replacement cost for an iphone still under contract is ridiculous, so it is important to have a warranty to cover you during those two years. I researched the various options and chose SquareTrade, which seemed to be the best value. I had the experience of having to file a claim and have been very pleased with the process. They were very prompt in processing the claim. I will continue to use them for future iphone/ipad purchases.

I had the most amazing experience with my iphone warrenty. I dropped my phone in the toilet and it was
not happy. I called squaretrade and was sure it was going to be at least a week before I had a phone that worked again,
but they answered the call right away and I had a new phone the same day! Brand new! I was soo happy.
I was reimbursed the full amount for the phone from square trade within a week.
They were super easy to work with and I will recommend them to all my friends and family.
