When out of the country, I accidentally exposed my iPhone to saltwater and completely ruined it. When I returned home, I put in my claim, and received immediate positive response that a refurbished phone would arrive via one day deliver; all interaction was automated and easy. All I would have to do is return my dead phone within 15 days of receipt. A day later, when expecting to receive the replacement, I was instead called by a customer service representative who informed me with profuse apology that they had incorrectly notified me, because my replacement was totally out-of-stock.

As my heart began to sink, he went further to inform me I had one of three options for replacing the phone:

1. Visit a local Apple Store with my deceased phone and pay the replacement fee for a NEW iphone of the same model, send SquareTrade the receipt, then be fully reimbursed.
2. Do the same thing online, which would involve additional delay due to swapping phones with Apple.
3. Choose to send my dead phone immediately to SquareTrade and get a refund of full value on the phone within a week to spend however I wished.

I chose option #3 and felt thoroughly relieved, but here's the part that has me thoroughly pleased. I had no more than used the shipping label they provided online and given the package to the carrier less than 12 hours before, when SquareTrade had posted the full value of the phone to my Paypal account!

I have NEVER experienced a warranty scenario that worked out so well and so speedily. And the apparent breakdown in the chain of replacement was not only immediately dealt with, and in person, but was compensated by scenarios that were not just equal to the expected; they were far superior!

I have a square trade warranty for my kindle and now my Iphone. Normally it only takes 2 or 3 minutes to reach a customer service rep on the phone and your problem is quickly taken care of. As well for anyone ordering this product, it is emailed to you not shipped. I didn't receive an email but was able to call them a few days later and set up the warranty. One other important fact is they only cover up to 600$ (at least in my case, 16gig iphone 5) meaning that similar to applecare + there is a limit to the amount of replacements you can receive due to mishandling your phone.

The tip of the headphone jack broke off inside off the headphone hole on my new iphone 5. Square trade replaced my phone by instructing me to pay for the replacement phone through Apple for $248, which was reimbursed to me by check from Squaretrade within one week. Very satisfied!

Square trade is having good customer service and they response well. They do service very fast. I really recommend square trade.

I am so glad I purchased the Square Trade warranty. I dropped my iPhone 4S and cracked the screen. I called the warranty number and they sent me to the nearest Apple store and had my new phone in two hours. The Apple store also has the best customer service you have ever experienced and within 20 minutes of arriving, I had my phone with all my settings and Apps downloaded. The Apple store E-mailed me my receipt to me and I forwarded the E-mail to Square Trade and received my reimbursement check in seven days. The Square Trade customer service representative was professional and told me exactly what to do with no issues. Don't hesitate to buy a warranty from this awesome company!

I have SquareTrade for my iPhone 4. Recently I had a malfunctioned power button on my iPhone and SquareTrade was great to deal with. Every time I have to deal with SquareTrade the process is about as painless as you could hope for.
