I have to wonder about all these reviews of SquareTrade warranties, including Ms. Jablonski's. The reviewers that gave 5-star reviews and were effusive in their praise for SquareTrade, are all new reviewers AND they have only reviewed the warranties; NOT even the products that were covered by the warranties were reviewed by them.

MAYBE they are all on the up an up and just truly love the warranties enough to review them. But let's just say I've seen a lot of companies have their employees (or just the Marketing person) post positive reviews to boost their ratings, and this looks like its happening here--big time.

Also, more pertinent to the product itself: why isn't the full warranty posted online so you can review the coverage BEFORE you buy it? I know I'd like to read the contract and view the full legal coverage and exclusions.

I have purchased Squaretrade warranties for almost all of my small electronics - especially refurbuished ones I buy from ebay or online. I have had to use the warranties twice, and they were AWESOME! I received emails every step of the way in the process, and it only took about 5 days to get the money back to my paypal account.

I am a Squaretrade "true believer" and highly recommend this service to all of my friends and family.

One word of advice, however. As with all warranties, save your receipts. Squaretrade also has a very helpful service which allows you to fax your receipts to them and then they keep an electronic version on file in case you ever make a claim. That takes one step out of the process, and I always am more likely to know where my reciepts are right after I receive the item (as I am purchasing the warranty) than one year later. Just for safety, though, I have started scanning and keeping .pdfs of my receipts here at home as well.

My ipod Nano suddenly stopped responding and I was getting the sad face icon. Luckily I had purchased the $4.99 warranty plan with my ipod off ebay almost a year ago and contacted Square Trade. It was extremely easy. They emailed me with a few steps to see if I could get my ipod restored. When that didn't work, I emailed them back and they promptly responded with a shipping label. Square Trade emailed they were notified by UPS my ipod was on it's way back. When they received it and determined it was broken, they immediately refunded my $49 to my Paypal Account. It took less than a few days plus shipping time. I will always purchase a Square Trade warranty when it's offered. It's the best insurance at a great price plus excellent service !!!!

I bought a no-name MP3 player and I sure am glad I sprung for the Square Trade warranty. The MP3 player crapped out pretty quickly and was useless before too long. Square Trade to the rescue. They were very easy to deal with and refunded the full purchase price with no hassles. I will definitely use them again.

my iPod broke and I had a warranty from SqauareTrade. actually, I have several warranties, this is the first time I've ever had to use one..
SquareTrade offered me the price I paid for the iPod. I wanted it fixed instead. They sent a prepaid box via UPS and over nighted it to me to send the iPod to be repaired. I got it back fixed in 3-4 days.. it has been the best warranty I have ever used. Patrick was the rep I talked to at SquareTrade. very professional.. highly recommend to anyone.

My daughter's sansa froze and we tried to reset it but that didn't work. I contacted Square Trade and they quickly emailed me a return shipping label. I sent the player back and received a "no hassle" refund for the full amount of the player in less than a week. I will buy extended warranties for all small electronics from now on!

Very easy to work with. I had a claim and the e-mailed me a shipping label within an hour of my claim being sent in and I shipped the item where they told me to. Within a week I had a refund in my paypal account. I would definitely do it again!

I've been a customer since 2007 and I've always returned to Squaretrade for my electronic warranties. I recently made a claim on my Creative Zen V player which stopped working and received a response two days after. I find that very quick timing and the process was very easy. They sent me a prepaid shipping label and once dropped off at UPS, I instantly received a notification from Squaretrade that UPS has received the item and will be contacting me as soon as they receive it on hand. Once on hand, they notified me immediately reassuring me that they will inspect the item and see if it could be fixed or they will refund my money. It took only one day for them to inspect and I received an email stating that I will be reimbursed the amount I paid for the item. I received my refund 2 to 3 business days through Paypal. I was very pleased with their service. I am so glad I went to them for my warranty since I only paid less then $10.00 for a 3 year coverage. That's an amazing deal compared to retail. I highly recommend them!

I sent an Ipod touch in for repair - the wifi stopped working after an update - go figure... (This is actually a common issue that apple ignores) I had taken this item to the apple store before sending to Square trade and Apple claimed it could not be repaired. Therefore, I thought I would get a refund for the item.
They sent it back and it had more issues than before I sent to them. When I sent it back the 2nd time to fix the new issues, they claimed it was WATER DAMAGED!!!
They did not handle the claim within 5 days as they claimed, the website did not have updates to the repair as it went through the process. Furthermore, when they finally shipped the now useless item back to me, it had a return address from a camera business (United Camera)!
What a joke, I will never blow the money on one of these warranties again. AMAZON, please look into this if you are going to promote this product on your website. I am hoping Amazon will honor me with a refund that I have requested, based on my experience.

SquareTrade is great. They fixed my MP3 player in just one week. That was with shipping to them and back to me. If you need a warranty and can't afford the high cost that the stores offer check out SquareTrade they are affordable and They have great service.
